No need to pull rank, I've followed them for around 18 years give or take but I'm only 24, fact is is that Tennessee's history still resonates to me and others and that's something that USCe is never going to have, plus we have more money, better facilities and our brand recognition is much higher, USCe has struggled to beat the worst teams that we have fielded in school history, these are facts. I still laugh when I think about those pre-season specials where the hosts bold predictions were along the lines of USCe winning the East
That was off the “1/3 of their remaining” blanket language that included Sherrer, Friend and Fitz...you saying they all have the same exact contract? That was “reported” as part of their standard contract but it doesn’t include leaving to be HC...never does. It’s a protection against them making a lateral move. Call it an “exception” if you wish when there’s no buyout “reported”. I still can’t reconcile this thinking that you’re more likely to lock in someone you threw money at to pry them away because they were in LESS demand.
