I think if these coaches could have gotten better committment and real effort from this bunch of adjective, even more descriptive worse adjective cussword cussword players...we would be at worst 7-5 right now...so yes I blame the group of cancers on this team that basically sabotaged the staff and season, and should have never been allowed to touch a Tennessee uniform, or run through the T, and step on Shields-Watkins field.Blaming the players is fine but it's not all on them.
Why go to a bowl and waste more time on a lot of players that need to be or going to not be here? It would be waste of time and money and get in on recruits, lift weights and begin the new process. Do not waste anymore time if they do not want to be here.Don't know if I buy the whole "coaches didn't care about a bowl" spill or not, but I know one thing, they know better than anyone we need a roster flip in the worst way. If a bowl was going to take away from what they see as more valuable time they could be on the road recruiting, screw a bowl. I'm an ends justify the means type of guy, they need to do whatever they can do to cut the players that aren't going to "do it the right way". Run em off, get better ones in. They don't give you an eternity in this league, and they obviously know that. We need a top ten class filled with guys that can be ready to play against Georgia State.
True, couldn't give much of an assessment given how limited we were in the spring. You could be right but we all expected some turnover and we saw virtually none. I thought that was strange. I honestly think he was giving everyone a fair shot. I don't think the spring showed him much.
While I think you're 100% correct, he doesn't fit Sabans model either and he tried to hire him. I think great OCs can adjust to different styles of play. His style was effective against Sabans defense. Pruitt probably respects him for that reason alone.Freeze would be a dream come true. However he's not really a power running attack guy, which Pruitt wants. As good as an offensive mind as he is though I'm sure he could field a heck of a unit built around a power running game.
I agree..if you have a mediicre roster that gives a isht. Tell the truth Hank...this roster has way too many guys that don't care. And nobody can make them..I want them gone.I don’t think we have a good roster by any means. Don’t get it twisted. I think you can have a mediocre roster and make a bowl game. Even if we don’t make a bowl game fine, but we weren’t even competitive half the time we were on the field. We had 6 losses by 25+ That’s where i put some blame on coaches too. We may be bad but we’re not that bad. Getting them ready and keeping them from packing it in and playing hard is on the coaches. That’s one thing they completely failed at imo. If we lost two close games to Vanderbilt and Missouri then my outlook would be totally different.
I hate Vanderbilt with a passion unlike any of our other rivals. We could house them 65-3 next year and it wouldn't be enough. It’s awful these last 7 years.
Although it’s kind of cute with the out state thing. They aren’t even the big man on their own campus, let alone stadium, let alone city, let alone state.
Wreaks of inferiority. I hope when we pound them next year none of our players spew that pee wee stuff.
When do you think Sankey will let someone hire Freeze? I mean, I really don't see how you can basically outlaw a dude from having a job in this league for very long. While I think you're 100% correct, he doesn't fit Sabans model either and he tried to hire him. I think great OCs can adjust to different styles of play. His style was effective against Sabans defense. Pruitt probably respects him for that reason alone.

There are players, and coaches and media guys everywhere telling you guys this...and you still will not listen.
There are players saying that guys quit and didn't care..coaches saying guys quit and didn't care...and media saying guys quit and didn't care...I’ve seen this team show up to workouts and practice every day for basically a year. Far more than they were asked to do under the previous regime. I’ve also seen players change their bodies like JG, Alexis Johnson, sapp etc. we have also basically had no arrest or dismissals from the team so no I’m not gonna say they just don’t care or don’t give a shi*. If they just weren’t good enough or whatever we wouldn’t have won on the road at Auburn or beat Kentucky. It’s why i put blame on both coaches and players. No one is innocent when a season ends this bad.
C’mon man, you the know those seniors wanted to go out and get embarrassed in their final game in Neyland last week and then possibly their final football game ever yesterday. They worked out their whole life just for that momentI’ve seen this team show up to workouts and practice every day for basically a year. Far more than they were asked to do under the previous regime. I’ve also seen players change their bodies like JG, Alexis Johnson, sapp etc. we have also basically had no arrest or dismissals from the team so no I’m not gonna say they just don’t care or don’t give a shi*. VN is dang funny.
Less than 24 hours later and missing a bowl is a good thing
Comical
I have not named one player negatively..I could, but I won't..VN is dang funny.
Less than 24 hours later and we're giving up on coaches, personally insulting players, dreaming up ridiculous charges, believing every rumor out there if it's negative towards our team regardless of the source or lack of. And we are enjoying the drama so we must think it's a good thing.
Comical.
I’m sure there are some, but for the most part they do, especially those senior that are starters. They didn’t go beat down Kentucky just to decide to give up and get embarrassed their final two games. The ones that don’t care have their ass on the sidelines getting ready to transferI don't think a lot of em gave a crap.
I want them all processed....sooner the better, I would have rather watched a team of walk-ons get slaughtered as what I've seen the last two weeks because a lot of guys don't want to play in a "crappy bowl" and mess up their holiday plans.I don't think we understood just how poor the roster was going into the season. I remember CJP being quoted by "sources" indicating that he was shocked at the lack of talent on the roster. I wasn't sure he was totally right because he hadn't been around the players that much. Now we can look back with something close to 20-20 vision and see that his assessment was spot on. There were so many players that had been hyped by Jones that just failed to step up. I bet Fitz was the first to see the situation.
That being said, yesterday was a bitter pill to swallow. I just can't stand quitters. Trying and failing is one thing. Quitting is another. That performance was just sickening.
The players who didn't buy into the program and quit should be shown the door immediately. We don't need their cancer next semester or ever. I hear there are openings at the "University of I Don't Give a S***". Maybe Butch can be their coach!!!!
They givashitz are outnumbered by the dongivashitz on this squad...period.I’m sure there are some, but for the most part they do, especially those senior that are starters.
