I just don’t see why the USC administration would go for that plan. To me, if you bring Clay back, you make him commit to wholesale changes. Not go back to things he’s comfortable with.
I agree, Tee has a way over inflated opinion of himself. He may turn into a great coach sometime but he's got a ways to go. I thought it was laughable when many were suggesting he was ready for the head coaching job at UT. He said the only way he would leave USC for UT was if it was for the head coach, not the OC. I was thinking, dude, you're not even the OC at USC.Not OC! He’s really really bad
Yep. Just a quick look at the roster we can probably guess the majority of them. I'd say most of this list is gone. I probably missed some too.
Brandon Johnson
Tyler Byrd
Shawn Shamburger
Quart'e Sapp
Will McBride
Jacquez Jones
Shanon Reid
Terrell Bailey
Solon Page
Princeton Fant
Cheyenne Labruzza
Ja'Quan Blakely
Eric Crosby

James Brown
There's only so many hours in the day, would you rather spend it trying to coach up a bunch of what you've already branded as misfits or spend it going out trying to replace the said misfits?
Then why did it happen @LA Vol
I'm not saying you're wrong but I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't think positives of not going to a bowl outweighed the negatives.Well he cant sign 85. He can’t even change much on this roster. Right away. This isn’t the NFL. Tell the misfits to stay home, the others have work to do. Cancel the football banquet, not the practices.
If he wins next year it will be primarily with the guys on the current roster not the frosh. Of course this is all hypothetical and moot.
I'm guessing he was QB at Bama when Pruitt was there and they're friends?
Currently Cleveland Browns OC. Freddie Kitchens - Wikipedia
I know they have some physical talent..but talent is just a part of the equation..for whatever reasons they are, and there are different ones in different cases..this roster sucks.Roster was good enough to go to a bowl and win six. Problem with the roster is too many guys who did not want to continue to play football. greasy posted that many of the guys on the team wanted to be home around family and friends for Christmas instead of practicing for a "sorry ass bowl". If his nephew feels this way as well as many others then that is why we looked like we did the last two games. You are right in players like that being bad but the physical talent was there. I would take three wins next year with guys playing their guts out for 4 quarters than a POS taking our money and laying down.
