Well, 5-7 first season closed out with back to back embarrassing losses. Honestly makes me wonder how tf we beat Auburn and Kentucky. What do guys think of year 1?

I know the reasonable thing would say “he just doesn’t have the players yet.” And that is 100 true. But no UT coach should ever lose to Vandy, let alone get beat down by them. It has honestly made me question him a lot. How do you be a competent coach and even let this happen?

The offense is poor and the play calling is predictable. The defense plays well at times but other times can’t get off the field. The schemes on both sides of the ball have to make you question this staff’s ability to develop into an elite staff.

This is a 26 senior vandy team that took Notre Dame to the end, next year we smash them with freshman and sophomores. I'll reserve judgement for Pruitt for 3-4 years, I think this staff is capable of evalutating and developing SEC talent unlike the previous staff.

Remember Pruitt made the OC hire. Struggling offense is on him. Of course the oline sucks. JG is either brilliant or meh any giving Saturday. It’s just hard for me to believe a guy that gets blown out by Vandy is the guy. The players just don’t look fired up at all. It’s bad.

They can't fire him for 2 or 3 years but my confidence level is ZERO. His team quit on him and they have shown no improvement in the 11 months he and his staff have been on the job. NO talent, no heart, no technique.

His team didn’t quit. Butches team quit. That’s what they were programmed to do. Your last statement is almost 100% true. Those who’ve wanted to get better, have. But they have definitely quit. Only bright spot this year is Taylor and Thompson.

We were kinda like Purdue vs Ohio State. It was an accident.

Don’t you even dare. Vanderbilt is Vanderbilt. Period. This is a terrible and embarrassing loss.

Why? None of them have really done anything at a place where the cupboards weren't already loaded. We're not getting Bama level talent here with the performance that this staff has put on and it doesn't seem like these guys are capable of doing squat without elite talent. Chicken /egg. Here we go again. Soon.

Bunch of idiots in here, so he’s suppose to take a crap roster, with a mediocre recruiting class and suddenly be competing for the east?
EXACTLY!!!! How the hell are we supposed to overcome this Vandy juggernaut? Its Vandy damnit. THE BEST OF THE BEST!! Fans need to chill. We will get to Vandys level in due time. A couple of recruiting classes and I'll bet we can keep it close with these guys.

T Helton has to go. Pruitt stays.
Get the ball to Jennings. This is just pathetic. Vandy is the second worst SEC East team, we are first. Season was a bust I don't care about any excuses, last place, BUST!

Makes you wonder what Pruitt was thinking hiring Helton. It should of been crucial to hire a proven OC

Pretty sure I have heard that for 3 straight years
