Well, my Thanksgiving meal was terrible. Spent it with the in-laws and we had dry dressing, bland ham, burnt Mac and cheese. It was awful

Happy Thanksgiving guys. I’ve been eating all day now I’m laid out on the couch drinking Jack Daniels and enjoying life.

Well, my Thanksgiving Neal was terrible. Spent it with the in-laws and we had dry dressing, bland ham, burnt Mac and cheese. It was awful

HAHA! That is to funny! My wife is an excellent cook. She is from Louisiana and makes every thing from scratch. Chicken and Dressing (not dry like Turkey) with giblet gravy , Mac and cheese, sweet potato casserole, home made apple sauce (we put up apple's for winter), and shoe peg corn casserole. Desert, Chocolate cake (home made chocolate fudge icing). I feel so fat right now. LOL

That sounds delicious. However, not all turkey is dry -- it's just that people don't cook it often enough to learn how to do it right so it can end up too dry. My Mom made some killer turkey today (she's been at it a while though).
