Will be closer to 36 than lol 11???Let me guess "reality" to you is that it takes 36 months in a college S&C program before measurable and demonstrable results can be seen?

18-24 is much more realistic
Cmon do you know anything about body chemistry and also this to play football in the SEC , not your local flag team.
18-24 for an entire program to see real returns overall ? AbsolutelyWow...you really believe that it takes an athlete 24 months in a Division I S&C program before strength gains manifest on the field?
Better call up every other SEC school and tell them that they are doing it wrong.
It seems like we heard the same thing even during the year when we had no strength and conditioning coach.

And your 11 months of gains isn’t really 11months , that’s not realistic to sustain over a course of a schedule. You can’t make any true gains during the season ... so your 11 months is much less than that especially considering all the players that weren’t even on campus for the spring or were injured/ limited.
But continue to bash the program , it’s your MO
Kirby had a stable program in place before he got there. His starting point was in a very different place from a talent and stability standpoint.
So I guess in kirby’s first year” trucking “Florida ,Vanderbilt , ole miss and Georgia tech he must have been doing it Right . And oh yeah Nichols state win by 2 was a good example of his superior S and C program as wellCall up Kirby and tell him his S&C program that has his team trucking opponents at the line of scrimmage, is doing it wrong.
Sure he did.Kirby brought in his own S&C coach, same as every head coach. Again, it's not like the roster was full of off-the-street dudes that Fitzgerald is having to turn into football players, the idea that we shouldn't see gains on the field from the S&C program after he's been on campus since January, is as ridiculous, as saying that you can't make gains during the season; other schools and NFL teams have proven that you can.
Sure he did.
Did Kirbys SC guy start with the same athlete that Fitz did? That's equally as ridiculous.
Our SC was at a level before Fitz got here that making it through a game or a practice without an injury that ended a season was a positive.
As I said before, (with some insight from a current starter on offense) the S&C program under the band guy was worse than the actual football development. It's not like it was some big secret no one knew about.
There are gains being made. The fact they dont suit your speed doesnt mean much.
His career is built upon the concept of "hit it 'n quit it", like every other imposter. In a few years he'll be perfect for a political position.Makes you wonder what exactly Butch's plans were for the future. Surely he knew that wasn't going to work. I still think he was just going through the motions last year.
Our SOs and JRs that were under trumpet blowers S&C program where many either were injuried or went backwards physically while they were in it? As opposed to a #1 recruiting class stocked full of the top prospects in the country that are already physically more mature than your lower ranked guys starting from a different spot? Keeping in mind that those 2 UT classes ranked 14 and 17 by comparison, very different players. So you think getting our sophomores and juniors to football strength is more difficult than getting the freshmen that Georgia has thoughout its second string ready?
I guess I'm just not one for throwing out accolades without actual warrent; then again I've never been one for participation trophies either.
The biggest place that I can see a strength and conditioning coach helping the team is not in the physical way, but rather in instilling a discipline in the team workout philosophy because during the off-season he is the only one that is allowed to coach. That's because we do hear it every year, regardless of the state of S&C...
