I just know Mizzou hasnt scored 50 points against a SEC team this year and that they averaged 26 points a game against SEC teams prior to Saturday...

It's a funny thing........ Pretending like turn overs didn't help get them 14 points...

Uhhhh Im sorry but even though Pruitt took over the worst roster in Tennessee history & Helton is working with an offensive line that is smaller than most JV high school teams we should be undefeated. I played pee-wee football so I know everything about football ever and Pruitt should hire me.

Nice work! And spot on, especially the last sentence.

Pruitt took over a horrific program. One that will see Charlotte with as many or more draft picks. One that was in the dumpster since Lane ran off 45 kids. One that was 0-8 last year. He should finish 6-6 and 3-5 with this horrific talent. This Defensive line plays about every snap because there is no one else. The great Tennessee dlines rotated about 8 guys. He didn't break this thing but he will fix it. It will not be fixed in one or two years by anyone. It takes time to get the right kids in here and develop them. Saban inherited a better deal and was 6-6 his first year. Smart inherited a better deal then both of them and was 7-5. And neither played a top ten out of conference opponent. Things are seriously looking up but it takes time. Show some patience and less ignorance.

I am excited for the future with CJP...
This team shows signs of improving but we do hot have the horses to compete every week in the SEC...
CJP and staff have my support and I will see where they take us...
Our roster is much worse than most expected..Including myself..
I think he has done a good job considering what he has to work with..
I will continue to support my VOLS and hope next year brings more sunshine...

I'm already Chillin'.....Why? Well, we beat two ranked teams in Auburn and Kentucky. Plus, when we beat Vandy we will be able to celebrate a bowl win to begin a new era and on track to beat Satan......I mean Saban;=))))))

This.

No offense to Pruitt but along with inheriting a bad situation, he inherited a fanbase that's been burned 3 times in the past decade. The last 3 got most of the fans to buy in Day 1 that they "were THE guy", and this time I believe most of the fanbase isn't going to make that declaration until we see some solid proof. That said proof is a bit subjective but the last guy had us at 9-4 after Year 3, so it probably will be tougher for him to win over the fanbase fully.
We got "burned" 3 times supposedly by one of our own...i.e. puppet type AD's and a few prominent boosters who think they know UT football. Might as well say after going 0-8 in '17 these idiots destroyed the program. Lost another year by not running CBJ off at the end of '16 season. When he reportedly ask for the money, $650,000, to get Matt Canada as OC for 2017, the UT admin. declined to do it. Therefore the fall to the cellar can't be pinned down to one person or one reason due to it being a combination of things.
The best UT fans can hope for is that we learn from these past mistakes in moving forward. It's gonna require some patience also because there's considerable ground to make up and our AD has chosen a 1st time head coach. It's a good thing to get behind this team and lend your unwavering support without being critical of these minor aspects that every college team faces during the course of any season.

Do we really need these threads after every game we get blown out by over 20 points? We know the ****ing situation but losing by 30 points to Mizzou at home is not a situation in which you tell people to "relax". You shouldnt be fine or relaxed after a loss like that.

I'm relaxed. Tennessee football is important to me but it isn't my life.

Also what can I do to change it?

Irrelevant. Dooley is calling plays in Odoms system. if Odom fired Dooley and got a new OC, the offense would look the same. Systems. Systems. Systems.
I was asking who calls their plays, I didnt know.
Weird how we give odom the credit for that offense and say the oc is irrevelent. Yet Pruitt ran Sabans defense and well.....nevermind, im sure it has a justification, whether true or not..

Assistants get way too much credit. Esoecially OCs and DCs.
