2018 Midterm Election Thread

You and your party have contributed to (if not been the main driver of) the country being "dumber", the decline in civility and increase in divisiveness.

You and your party have never given two shots about the debt before so what's changed?

Can you give us some details about what's been done to harm the environment?

Public education has been on the decline for decades, we spend more money per student than any other country and get less for it. What political persuasion would you say has had the most influence on public education over the last 30-40 years in the form of teachers, administrators and both state and federal DOEs?

I'll take your word on your brothers company.
You asked, I answered. I had no delusions that you would agree. We could debate these point by point, but we both know it would be a waste of time.
We see things differently.

Got a link? Also remember there is a huge difference between what his businesses owe and what he personally owes.

Guess you didn't catch the big NY Times article about how he and his family engaged in tax fraud to avoid paying taxes on his daddy's money.

You have to factor in the % given to religious affiliation. That would more than explain the difference.
I don't think religious affiliation is consequential. If a religious organization helps a group in need, what difference does it make? Should we arbitrarily exclude animal rescue donations because it's not to people? cancer organizations because there isnt a definite cure? What else can we arbitrarily exclude?

churches often use donations to host events for the needy, community projects, missions, etc. So again, the percentage is irrelevant imo.

Just provide some examples that do not include opinion or feelings. You mentioned your brothers company and you got no argument from me over that.

I'm worse off because the country is dumber, civility has declined, divisiveness has increased, the dept is exploding, we've turned a blind eye on the environment, we've diminished the value of public education

So, in other words, you aren't worse off at all. You blindly regurgitate some nonsense fed to you by the liberal news, most of which has absolutely no measurable truth. Divisiveness and civility are no different than it was under the the prior Presidents. Most of us remain kind and compassionate in our everyday lives. We aren't "dumber," and that's maybe the most ridiculous comment you've ever made.

Please demonstrate how we have devalued education and harmed the environment.

I'll give you a pass on Chinese imports, because I don't really care about that. We've been bending over for them for decades, and it's about time we even the field.

So? Are you saying that religious charities are not selfless giving for the benefit of others? You want to mandate social giving by force to the government but disparage the generosity made by choice?

Looking at her debt, she couldnt even qualify for a security clearance. How the **** you have 76k in credit card debt while owing delinquent taxes of 50K? While only having 11K is liquid assets.

Piss poor financial responsibility and planning. Especially at her age.

I'm worse off because the country is dumber, civility has declined, divisiveness has increased, the dept is exploding, we've turned a blind eye on the environment, we've diminished the value of public education, and the tariffs on Chinese imports are a significant blow to my brother in law's company.
Oh good lord.

Lol, like Loother said, you idiots will believe anything your media tells you.

Anyone who doesn't understand the fact that he and his businesses would have been under damn near constant scrutiny and audits multiple times, due to the sheer fact of the amount of money, is totally inept and doesn't have a clue about the IRS and money.

People earning large amounts of money, and especially those that own privately held companies that are considered above 4A-C, are audited quite often. Add in any work with the government, and the audit is a thing of bi-annual certainty.

They go after people who make money, almost a 0.5% chance of an audit if earning under $100,000, and really up to 200,000. Those numbers are lower from 2015, too.
"Almost 35 percent of households with over $10 million in adjusted gross income were subject to an IRS audit in 2015, compared to 0.47 percent of households with between $50,000 and $75,000."
The IRS Audited 1.2 Million Households in 2015 - Tax Foundation

The next highest are households with adjusted gross incomes near zero.

Hey now. The .gov knows what's best.
