Who said anything about spending money?I respect your opinion. But to me bandwagon fandom requires a team to be good. We haven't been...in a long time. You don't have to spend money or watch the games to be a fan. I'm a Denver Broncos fan and rarely if ever watcha game

I honestly keep asking myself that about Tennessee. As for Denver, I have just liked them since the 80s...don't get many of their games in this market.
I have actually watched most of the games this year...with the exception of Georgia, UTEP, and Auburn.
Fair question. I used to be "die hard" Tennessee loss ruined my weekend and resulted in property damage. Hence my tag line about lightbulbs. Now I guess I am getting used to us being irrelevant. I'm still a fan...and love the team. Graduated from Tennessee actually. You dont see where some may think it odd that you essentially describe yourself as a passing fan, even questioning why you are still one, but seem so engaged here?
That's not some back handed "go find another team" angle. It's a legit question.
The interest level is what makes it seem weird.

And I enjoy riling Butch and Jake up tremendously.
Check this out for a laugh:Vaguely.
It was a definitely one of those "where were you, or what did you do afterward" games.
Been several of them over the years. Both ways.
This may be your best post... Ever.If we ever get good again, we need to have a big fire and burn all vestiges of the down cycle. The gear shift knob from Lane's Lexus and his office sofa, Dooley's orange pants and orange dog, the Smokey grays, a Battle of Bristol champions' ring, the Turnover Trashcan...all that shite. Until then, it's like a iron weight shackled to our ankles.
If he’s doing well at UT why would he ever leave?8 wins great for who? If you mean the players, golf clap for those rascals. If you mean Pruitt, it's probably not good enough to get him a better job at a successful program. If you mean the fans, I wager that the prospect of maybe getting to 8 whole wins in a season is not going to drive ticket sales to particularly lofty heights. The economic times are changing; they are cyclical and the cycle is turning down. UT tickets are going to become less of a staple and more of a discretionary purchase. 8 doesn't get it.
