Do you even know the definition of “fair weather” fan? It’s the very definition of you and the comments you have made. If you don’t want to watch the games, fine, it’s your prerogative. There is a few other posters that spew the same garbage in multiple threads as you, yourself. You guys seem to get offended when someone has a different opinion and feel to make it a mission to Get everyone to think like you. Save your breath or should I say, fingers.

Its interesting that many around here don't seem to understand exactly what a fairweather or bandwagon fan actually is. I started noticing this phenomenon in 2016.

Wonder what all the fairweather fans who jumped off in the mid aughts are doing these days? It would stink to come back here and find out you can't play Yahtzee anymore.

I'm sure they would find it a little entertaining to find that other fair weather fans are just now deciding to jump. They got to be laughing they ass off.

If we ever get good again, we need to have a big fire and burn all vestiges of the down cycle. The gear shift knob from Lane's Lexus and his office sofa, Dooley's orange pants and orange dog, the Smokey grays, a Battle of Bristol champions' ring, the Turnover Trashcan...all that shite. Until then, it's like a iron weight shackled to our ankles.

The fact that Stoops even got this far is beyond amazing. We are talking about Kentucky football. When was the last time they were in a position to win the East?

They have had a great year no question. Things have fell about perfect for that as well. They caught UF at a perfect time. The officials flagged them to a win last week on a terrible call at Mizzou.

But to the point. Is 8 - 10 wins gonna be the new norm for them or is this the typical flash in the pan where they are hiring another coach in 2 years? This season by itself doesnt legitimize Stoops. If he can stay in that range multiple years then you have an argument. It doesnt concrete the idea that every coach at every school fits his or UKs mold.

The top 15 -20 recruiting programs can fix their issues quicker than those not recruiting on that level.

Bandwagon fan: fan who begins to cheer for a team when they start doing well.

Like I said. None of those type of fans left here. Anyone still around sunshine pumpers or Negavol has proven their worth and done their part as a fan.

Our program has been in the toilet for a decade.

I’ve heard, but can’t confirm, that we have some folks around here who still consider themselves fans but don’t watch the games. Only watching when the team is winning sounds bandwagon-ish.

Agree to disagree. I've heard these fans may not watch every game, but they don't cheer for any other teams, they do wear the colors, and do hang out on the message board to keep up with everything.

I have a Packers hat. I like them. But I don’t call myself a fan. I like watching Rodgers play.

Some of them don’t hang out to keep up, just to have an avenue to complain. To each his own. I’m not the fan police; but I think bandwagon might apply. That’s all.

Wouldn't know but I'm pretty slow 0-60 !
As for a Fan, been one thru all the good, bad and sloppy but I was born with orange in my veins, so then there's that !
