Hmmm? This is something to consider. And along those lines they may not have know JG's chances of playing and might have been trying to keep at least one healthy QB. Still shouldn't have made the statement that QB play was poor and not point out KC's contributions.

I've been a member here for a year...but I lurked a long time before that, and I've seen a lot of dumb threads. This one might take the prize as the worst, and that's saying a lot. Congratulations! I feel dumber for having read through the whole thing.

I guess you didn't see the second half?

He had more attempts in the second half than first. He had two good drives and then got shut down.

OP you could have saved yourself a little grief if you would have just said “flame away” in the OP. But you can’t get overly sensitive here man. Half the guys, more like 80%, just messing with you. Try to just take it in stride but you do have to pick and choose your battles. Keep posting man.

But my opinion is that when healthy, JG should be the starter and we don’t beat Auburn without him.

Are you concerned Chryst might get his feelz hurt? If players aren't hard enough to take criticism, they're not hard enough to play football at UT. The job of the coach isn't to coddle his players, it's to make them better. I really hate when people try to bring this snowflake crap into football. In all seriousness, what is Pruitt supposed to do? Give Chryst a happy face sticker and a pat on the head?

Pruitt and Saban both said they finally made adjustments second quarter. They worked. Bama adjusted second half and he was worse than JG in the first.

Worse than Guarantano's first quarter? Turning the ball over on a critical first offensive series (like the Florida game), and getting beat up due to not knowing what the heck he is doing, is better than Chryst going 4-8 for 45 yards and a missed field goal?!

Let this be the third or fourth time that it has been spelled out for you. The ONLY two remaining oossessions after the 4-7 drive (that was also over the course of the last 20 minutes of the game) Pruitt ran the ball to get the game over with! In summary, Chryst had ONE possession in the second half that he got to attempt to make anything happen and it resulted in a 50 yard drive and a missed field goal. Multiple people have spelled out to you MULTIPLE times just how little was attempted in the second half. One drive, with ANYTHING other than handing off the ball, and it still resulted in a missed field goal. Something Guarantano didn't sniff getting close to doing. I don't THINK you're that unintelligent. Likely just that stubborn to your bias.

Also, you stating that anyone has an agenda is ironic and comical.

I checked my history and did not see where I even posted in that Thread.....
I did post something similar in the Pruitt out of line Thread. It was another thread that got out of hand. Right now I think its best that we all just chill about CJP. He is hard nose and has a set of standards and they are higher than the recent coaches we have had here in a while.

We don't and shouldn't put words in CJP's mouth because he doesn't use or mince words....This staff has been or had to be repetitive and it's not sinking in to all....

The words that resonated the most with me were "this game Alabama was to big for some of our players" . What does that tell you...I can understand it being big for freshman but I don't think he was talking about freshmen in total...

I think he knows a whole heck of a lot more of what he's talking about than all of us....He has taken hours to watch and break down the film with his OC....And he made the appropriate comments based upon KNOWING exactly what they were expecting Chryst to do during the ballgame. YOU and I don't......

If it isn't perfect, he will point it out, even if the play was successful.

I'm ok with that. The difference between good enough and almost perfect is several wins.

That was an odd move by Helton after the early success KC had. Not sure what the thought was there but it for dang sure didn't pan out well.
