Here's my thing with it all of it...(and I'm not mad at anyone for posting anything).
But Butch is gone. I don't know of anyone who wants him back. Tennessee is never going to have him back and honor him for his time in Knoxville. Everyone was ready for him to move on and be gone. Obviously Butch elected to be very visible yesterday and that's his decision.
Butch Jones, who I will admit, I like as a person, had more to do with the Vols losing the game than Alabama winning the game.
On to South Carolina and Pruitt's attempt to build the program back.
Not even close. They changed the whole offense for him. Alabama wasn’t prepared for that, making KC look better. I’m all for having a good back up, but KC isn’t the QB JG is. JG blows him away.
Dude, no. I didn’t even read your whole response but I know what your trying to say. If KC was the starter they would’ve known what offense we run with him and results would’ve been the same or probably way worse then JG’s. It gave us a little momentum because we surprised then with new plays/scheme with Chryst in. That’s all that happened. JG is the far superior QB, and when he lights it up AGAIN next week all you doubters will want to name a street after him. End of story. Moving on to SCWait, if they were able to change the offense for him and he started moving the ball and putting points on the board, isn't that better than the stalled offense we were running that struggled to gain a yard or even a first down with JG? Isn't the point of the game to scheme so that the other team isn't prepared and we capitalize on it? So it would have been better to stay with the QB and offense Bama was prepared for, and maybe not score a single point? At least in this game, the better QB by a long shot was KC, and the offense and score proves it. I don't remember KC coming in and not being able to read pressures and blitzes and getting blown up, overthrowing the WR's... But JG did. Many can argue JG may be the better QB overall, but yesterday he certainly was not.

Also, not trying to take anything away from KC. He truly is an SEC qb. I would compare him with Joe Burrow. I know he doesn’t have a great team around him like Joe does, but they play very similar. All in all JG is just better. Put JG behind Alabama’s center he’s a heisman candidate! Our play calling outside of a flea flicker has been so basic when KC is in lol. We did the same over loaded formation to chandler twice.
Not so sure about thatAlso, not trying to take anything away from KC. He truly is an SEC qb. I would compare him with Joe Burrow.
