How does a team that has lost 12 of 13 sec games suddenly find themselves in a big game? They could play the 85 Bears and would that make it a big game?
JG is not the problem. Alabama is not the team to be judging our performance off of. JG proved himself last week against Auburn. I'm hurting as bad or worse than anyone, but let's not be idiots and turn on JG. He is the future I hope he isn't severely injured...
And he still didn't get hit repeatedly or have to throw the ball into a tiny window because he didn't make the right read.4/8 45 yards
Playing the whole second half. He is a wizard at making the great reads. lmao
That was not a team to aspire to be like. There will never be teams like the dirty Tide after Satan leaves. They are a machine.I'm so tired of this narrative, will be glad when he is no longer on the sidelines in a uniform for people to drool over. Of course, those same ones will just start drooling over whoever is the backup with that crap of, "The line seems to block better when he's in there" "The playcalling just seems more crisp" "Did you see that throw, he really is Christ". I don't even want to argue with the fools anymore about him, I'm realizing I'm resembling them myself, thinking I can reason with the illogical.
We took a whooping, we knew we would, the team needed to know where they actually stand, as well as the fans. And where they and us want that team to be, which will take the Jimmy and the Joe's. These guys can coach, some can play, but they cannot do it themselves. That wasn't Tua beating us, or little Nicky, that was a program, a team. What we should and do aspire to be like.
Unabated to the QB most of the day. JG took a serious hit I can believe he may have suffered a broken collarbone. I hope it is not true but he took a vicious beating today.
I agree completely. But I don't see how any sane individual wouldn't have issues playing behind that o-line. Chryst compensates for his arm a little due to experience, but eventually he'd get rung up too.It will happen "a couple of times". It shouldn't happen as much as it does with JG.
I'm not even say to give up on him. But he MUST get better for the sake of the team and his own health.
