Chryst is not going to take a sack if he can avoid it. He will hit you in the helmet or throw it in the stands he doesn't hold it when the rush beats the line. JG is an excellent QB as well can make the plays if he has any protection Chryst just a little more knowledge of where to go with the ball and when to get rid of it. That is not a slight on JG Chryst is a five year player JG redshirt soph.

Truth is truth. He has improved. I've actually been optimistic. But you still ignore a pretty obvious problem with him. He's physically gifted. He's tough. But his decisions and reads still aren't great.

The fact that he had next to zero blocking in either game makes it difficult to evaluate him based off what he can control. But I don't think Chryst his a bad option, I really hope Palmer is ok

Agree mostly but today, Bama disguises nothing. Danielson pointed out the safety and how he was standing and it should have alerted JG. But it didn’t. Even last week, his great throws were simultaneously met with a huge hit.

Our line is weak and not very talented so I agree with you on that point.

Where was Chryst's great read making ability in the second half? What did JG do last week as NPOTW? Hmmm . . .

Our LT May be a stud but he needs to be playing guard. He is not fast enough to play LT. But he is an absolute monster when playing Guard. I expect to see a shift for him back to guard next year with all the new guys coming in.

I'm so tired of this narrative, will be glad when he is no longer on the sidelines in a uniform for people to drool over. Of course, those same ones will just start drooling over whoever is the backup with that crap of, "The line seems to block better when he's in there" "The playcalling just seems more crisp" "Did you see that throw, he really is Christ". I don't even want to argue with the fools anymore about him, I'm realizing I'm resembling them myself, thinking I can reason with the illogical.

We took a whooping, we knew we would, the team needed to know where they actually stand, as well as the fans. And where they and us want that team to be, which will take the Jimmy and the Joe's. These guys can coach, some can play, but they cannot do it themselves. That wasn't Tua beating us, or little Nicky, that was a program, a team. What we should and do aspire to be like.

Realistically, how many times do you think JG got himself hit today? I really don't think it was more than about 2 out of about a dozen times.

He definitely came out tight, but honestly I don't think it mattered who was out there today.

Because to some... no criticism of JG is allowed. You'll never convince them that QB's across CFB make reads and decisions that help them avoid getting hit and help them make good plays.

He may be a great kid. He's physically gifted. Regardless of what you call it.... his decisions and reads are still lagging. And it is getting him hammered and forcing him to hit guys in very tight windows.

If he read D's as well as KC did today... he wouldn't get hit often and he'd blister most d's by hitting wide open receivers.

And 3 sacks came right in between the Guard and Center. He needs to be a guard.
