I hate they get a bye this week.
Yea me too. But I think our defense can shut down (for the most part) their offense. Their front 7 isn’t that good, this should be our best rushing game so far. It’ll be close but I think we matchup well.

Mizzou will be our toughest remaining game imo

I assume u mean besides Bama

So who are our other two wins after Charlotte?

I like these type questions. Barring unforeseen events, all 5. Not being Ron either.

The toughest may be USCe. They get the off week, are at home, and we may be dinged up from Bama. Just two O playmakers - Deebo and Edwards. Their D and the rest of the O are average or below. They are treading water as a team. We are improving weekly and have more playmakers on both sides of the ball. Our talented freshmen corners are maturing and match up well with both of their playmakers. That frees the rest to focus on the QB and RB. They have nobody to stop our WR's if JG is on at all. Playing on the road is not an issue now. I'll take the team that is trending up.

The next toughest is UK, whose schedule toughens and whose offense is becoming really stagnant. Their D is good, but no better than Auburn's. Their game against Mizzou will expose both team's flaws to our staff. Add in they have to play UGA and get beat up some more before us. Mizzou is one dimensional - their D is just not good. Pressure Locke, win game. Vandy and Charlotte are Vandy and Charlotte. Just stay focused on one game at a time.

Yea. Their offense is basically WVU lite, I don’t trust our secondary vs them. And our don’t trust our offense in a shootout

I used to feel that way, but Pruitt has been spot on with his defensive playcalling, and the Taylor/Thompson CB duo is getting better each and every week. Thanks goodness Pruitt brought those two in... our secondary without their athleticism would be getting torched otherwise.

Very proud of the way our DL is playing too. No doubt our defense will be elite in a couple of years.

Rumor per a "Bama insider" that Tua had his knee scoped, which would put him out against us next weekend. Hurts is still a good QB, but I think Pruitt will have a great defensive gameplan to try and slow him down.

Bama will be favored by 28 imo.
I think Pruitt will have the best chance to stop Bama's offense...not even saying that we will, but he went up against that offense everyday last year. He knows what Bama has, and maybe knows something the other teams don't. I don't think it'll be a close game, but it'll be interesting to see how Pruitt tries to stop them.

Don’t see us beating Missouri. SCjr/Vandy are toss ups. Whoever comes to play
None of the teams we play, sans Alabama, is as good as Auburn. So we have a chance vs. them all.

I’d rank them in likelihood of a Vols win as:
Charlotte
Vandy
——————————
Kentucky
South Carolina
Missouri
——————————
Alabama
