Could happen. If we continue to try and force the run up the middle all game like we have been doing we have no shot. Hopefully for the bye week they’ve worked on ways to scheme around them and they’ve added some quick throws and creative ways to get Ty the ball
Hopefully, and if that happens I think it’ll be a competitive game for sure.... But according to some people it’d take a magic spell to scheme around our weaknesses and be less predictable and more creative😬😂

I wouldnt say he sucked in 2016. Vs bama and Scar he did but I think that was more with the circumstances. He probably would have ended up with a huge game vs Uga😬 our team played awful vs App State and Ohio had our oline been competent Hurd likely has just as good of a start in 16’ as he did in 15’, overall his stats (minus Bama and Scar) were just a little down. Remember we couldn’t block anybody vs App, or first half of VT and UF.
He quit. That brings way into suckage range. He also averaged only 3.7 ypc after averaging nearly a yard more the previous two seasons. He cost a TD against Georgia because he was trying to be badass and he refused to play against SC. He sucked.

Unfortunately if we roll out the same offensive game plan we have seen so far this season, we won't.

That's why I added it to your"something crazy" list. Practice reports seem to be better this week (at least the few I've read). Hopefully they have gotten better and rested up over the bye week. I don't think a win is completely crazy, though.

Listening to Finebaum interview with Malzahn, and Malzahn keeps saying they want to get a “good, clean win” tomorrow.

My read on that: He knows how fragile his team is right now. Adversity is their enemy. If we can ruffle their feathers early they may break. Pour on more steam Vols.

Don’t worry, the hairdresser squad, 22 and 28, will make Auburn beautiful again before halftime.

That caller, "Marty from the Ozarks" was spoofing the Netflix show "Ozark" (lead character is named "Marty Bird" played by Jason Bateman). The caller also made a shout out to a kid named "Wyatt Langmore" who was having an 'excellent season for his HS team.' Wyatt Langmore is another character on the show. None of Hubbs, Kesling or Pruitt got the reference or understood the joke.
Ozark is a great series. Jason Bateman just announced there will be a season three. He writes and directs a lot of it.

If we beat Vandy, and go to Sugar Bowl, Butch would have taken another job for 2017, and we all sit here and ponder how far along would we be right now. Then again, Bahama John May have totally screwed up the hire and we could be in worse shape.
Our administration at the time was in no way capable of hiring anyone better than Butch or Dooley. Remember, Bahama John wasn't hired until late winter, early spring. It most likely would have been another cluster fudge.

Honestly I kind of thought that was coach speak for they're playing weak competition and they just want to get stuff straight before they start playing the big boys again.

Are we still taking the practice reports seriously? Those things are pointless IMO.

A lot of Auburn people I know are actually worried about this game tomorrow, not saying I think we're gonna win, but Auburn is not playing well lately and their fans are a little nervous

If we can actually hold on to the ball and score on our opening drive, with the way they're crumbling on the inside we win this game.
