We had a FF forum escapee drop in and give us an English lesson, Ulysses called us idiots this morning, some say JG sucks, a few think Dobbs sucked and we're probably gonna kick Auburn's ass on Saturday.
Other than that we're just as fun loving as we've ever been.
Hey...pretty sure I said..IF..but if I didn't..oh well, I get called names too...like "white trash"..

We may be vanilla right now on offense, but I believe it will pay off in the long run. Yes, we all want to see some wrinkles to help mask our definciences, but it’s gotta be hard for the coaches when they can’t get the OL to execute back to back off tackles. These players will get the fundamentals down at some point and it will be worth it.

Conversely, y’all ‘member when Sunseri tried to throw the entire playbook on the defense day 1 and they never once, throughout the entire year, got it together? Defense looked like they were playing a game of hide and seek and didn’t know if they were “it” or not.

I ‘member oh yes, yes I do.
Common sense post. This is exactly what I've been saying over and over. I am not any bigger of a fan of boring predictable football as all the bitchin Helton hatin whiners on VN, and I don't believe for a second that Helton is either...so there has to be a logical reason for it, and what you said IS the logical reason.

When fundamental execution improves..the playbook will open.

Great performance? Definitely. Fumble when the game hung in the balance? Yep. Opposite of moxie that day. The pick at the end of the A&M game falls into that category. It doesn't matter what you do for 59 minutes if you fail when your team needs you most. Flame away ladies.
If Dobbs didn't Dobbs for those other 59 minutes there wouldnt have been any "games hanging in the balance" to start with. Both those games would have been complete blowout losses.

If my high school football team saw some lineman smashing my head in like that no doubt there would’ve been a brawl of epic proportions on the field. Kid shouldn’t be able to play again, but I’m pretty surprised there were no players rushing the field after the punches were thrown.

South Carolina 2014
Georgia 2015
Florida 2016
Georgia 2016

All of these games were Ls without Dobbs being clutch in the second half / late game

South Carolina 2016 is the only game Dobbs can be partially blamed for.
OU and Bama 2015 go there too. Arkansas too maybe. Dobbs’ inconsistency passing really limited the team until his Sr. year.

“Opening up the playbook” and “don’t run on 12/13 first downs” is a false equivalency.

Ok...then you continue your hyperbolic criticism of the staff that is trying to make chicken salad put of chicken ****.
lol c’mon McGill, do you know what hyperbolic means? It means greatly exaggerated.

Saying I haven’t been impressed with some playcalling and I think the relative inexperiece of the offensive staff is showing is far from hyperbolic.

Saying people who think the offensive staff has room for improvement expect them to magically make the offense great is hyperbole.

I know what hyperbolic means. I think the criticism at this point, with this roster is hyperbolic.
