the part of the show i listened to, i didn't hear him get in to this specifically. and on the one hand, i agree with this premise.
on the other, i think there are a few that do get it, and could develop in to something. Sapp is one. i still have hope for Warrior, Taylor, Bituli etc.... the Sr's that have had the most exposure, are gonna be gone.
the ones i would worry about are guys like Drew Richmond....not sure he ever gets it.
Close games when the pressure was on at the end? He tended to mess up. but he also thew a hail mary to beat Georgia so he was a hero that day.
South Carolina 2014
Georgia 2015
Florida 2016
Georgia 2016
All of these games were Ls without Dobbs being clutch in the second half / late game
South Carolina 2016 is the only game Dobbs can be partially blamed for.
whoa. i know how that would have been handled when i was in high school. i would imagine, a similar handling is probably required. that was ridicluous. 3 game suspension? BS.
well that's even worse then, i mis understood what the guy said then. The kid was only suspended for the remainder of the half and the 1st half of the next game, same as CFB targeting rules. The kid who was choked and his head slammed to the ground missed 3 games due to the concussion he suffered from having his head slammed to the ground. The player and the coach also, if it is determined the kid was repeatedly targeted, should face much, much harsher penalties.

Well..Can't argue with any of that.Hyperbole.
Everybody here has very tempered expectations with this offensive unit. Many (myself included) just think that playcalling has exacerbated weakness at times.
Nobody expects this offense to turn into the 2012 or 2016 offenses any time soon. Hell, I’ll be happy with the progress if they can just get to the point where they’re getting a 2-3 first downs most possessions, giving the defense a bit of a rest, and helping our STs win the hidden yardage and field position battle. That and maybe a couple chunk yardage plays a game are probably the upside of this unit.
But leading up to the UGA game we’d been overly predictable on first down and with some personnel choices (with the exception of the Pope fumble, every time Byrd had entered on offense was a run play prior to UGA). UGA showed some progress in mixing things up. It’s still clear we’ll just be overmatched the next couple weeks though. Nobody in the RF is expecting us to march up and down the field on auburn even if Helton calls a perfect game.
