Is it just me, or with the decade of suck that we've endured, does anyone else get sick to their stomach when they hear that CBS 3:30pm intro music? It's like a Pavlovian symbol that we are more than likely about to get our teeth kicked in.
It's like off the horror film room 1408, and that song "We've only just begun" plays.

OC was a critical hire, with a defensive-minded HC who wants to focus on the D and trust his OC to keep the O clicking. Pruitt spending more and more practice time with the O, when that isn't his forte, means that things have changed. We'll see if anything changes on the field against Auburn.
yep.

and i'm not ready to throw helton under a bus just yet, but it is curious that going in with the intent of letting the OC run the offense (which i agree with) on his own so he could work with the defense (which i also agree with), that he didn't go after or bring in an experienced OC.

We leave Friday. Debating if I'm going to try to hit the Auburn game on the way home.

I dread Danielson’s take. He’s annoyingly but usually pretty spot on in his analysis. And he generally explains how we don’t have the players to compete, how we used to be good a dozen years ago when he first started announcing the sec and then he ends by rattling off 30 things that need to go our way to keep from being embarrassed.

CBS was always the worst for having the winner/loser pre-scripted. So when there was the occasional upset, they were always the most pathetic about sputtering out excuses, until it was finally just too damn late and they didn't know what to say at the end.
