It's not a court of law. It's a determination of if he's suitable to be a SC Justice for the rest of his life. Clear headed people would conclude that he MAY not be and that there has to be a better pick out there.Again.....you don't know that he lied. You have to prove the man lied, its not the other way around.
What was I suppose to get out of that? lol....watch the interview.

He is not a ****ing perjurer or sex offender no matter how many times you rock in the fetal position and repeat it to yourself. If you guys (and senate republicans) feel K is the best selection possible, then by all means support him and vote him into a lifetime appointment as a SC justice. In a way it would be apropos to have Trump appoint the worst justice ever. The majority of the country will know for decades to come that a known perjurer and probable sex offender was allowed on the bench by Trump and his followers......MAGA

James Roche, one of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's freshman year roommates at Yale, said Wednesday that Kavanaugh lied under oath about his drinking and about the meaning of his yearbook entries.
In an op-ed for Slate, Roche writes, "Brett Kavanaugh stood up under oath and lied about his drinking and about the meaning of words in his yearbook. He did so baldly, without hesitation or reservation."
"In his words and his behavior, Judge Kavanaugh has shown contempt for the truth, for the process, for the rule of law, and for accountability," Roche added. "His willingness to lie to avoid embarrassment throws doubt on his denials about the larger questions of sexual assault."
The guy came across as very level headed in the interview. Not sure if this link actually plays the interview, but you should watch it. Everyone should watch it.
This totally ignores the context of the conversation, and I need to rehash some things.
1. In 2009, Kavanaugh wrote a law review article suggesting that legislation be passed exempting the president from civil and criminal investigation.
2. I was called intellectually dishonest for saying Kavanaugh opined that the president should be immune from prosecution.
3. The article basically says “well this would be a safe move because... impeachment.” A comment that I probably disregarded as toothless when I read it in August and missed when I skimmed it this morning, and I was well trolled over this mistake.
4. Impeachment is toothless. Impeachment without investigation is hopeless and toothless.
The discussion was only ever intended as a logical proof to show that Kavanaugh in fact believes that the president should effectively be immune from scrutiny for crimes. This is abundantly clear if you examine the article through the lens of our current political situation, the situation as it existed in 2009 when the article was written, and as it has existed since 1998 when the senate failed to remove Clinton. Criticisms of the system we have were made to provide context.
I don’t approve of any Supreme Court Justice who takes that position, for reasons that should be obvious by now.
His ability to directly affect Donald Trump is largely beside the point. I don’t care about Trump. His opinions and written work are the best measure of what he will be like as a Justice for possibly 40 years or more.
He is neither one......he seems pretty qualified for the job to me.If you guys (and senate republicans) feel K is the best selection possible, then by all means support him and vote him into a lifetime appointment as a SC justice. I think he will get confirmed but I will never count on sorry fake Rs like Flake,Collins or Murkowski until the votes are officially inSo, it's pretty obvious to me that Kav is getting confirmed. The only question is, will the SCOTUS put their newest member in charge of the upcoming office Halloween party?
Could be epic!![]()

He's definitely a perjurer and probably a sex offender.
