To be fair JG hasn't had a lot to practice that stare on. What has he won 4 games maybe 6. When this all starts to come together then we can judge.

This to me is the BJ effect. I think Butch got 4 and 5 star players with very little love for the game and physical play. He got the softees.

Players like Jennings, Warrior and the Juco DL they all have a mean streak. This is why we’re not only getting beat we’re getting our asses kicked. Florida was mean and wanted to fight, we’re passive and they handed our ass too us.

Until we recruit the wussy out of our team we won’t know what kind of staff we have. You can’t coach a kid to have a mean steak.

If we could magically get better on both the O and D Lines, I think we would see a massive difference.

Butch is an idiot, but he was right about one thing. The SEC is a line of scrimmage league (but really, you can say that about most football games). And we are failing massively up front on both sides of the ball. Until we get these issues resolved, we won’t see much success, if any.

We weren't 14th in the SEC last year and won't be 13th or 14th in the SEC this year because we are 13th or 14th in the SEC in talent level.

Do we have just as much or more talent than Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, or Texas A&M? No. However, we have very comparable talent on paper to Florida and more talent on paper than any other SEC team. "Lack of talent" does not even come close to fully explaining how poorly this team played in 2017 and how poor it is this year. Even with the roster attrition Butch experienced that hurt depth, this team has guys that are supposed to be able to play. The problem is that for years this team was poorly coached, poorly developed (both technique-wise and S&C-wise), and as a result I think there are a bunch of guys disillusioned with how their career has gone and questioning what they are doing.

Why o why did Butch not have a QB coach and strength coach for a year? They are so important did he think he could just get away with it and trust the kids to work out hard on their own.

Defense is Developing
LB’s are beginning to Understand
QB is Guarded

Totally change offensive scheme without adequate offensive line depth and (sub-par development from previous coach). Then top that with a new style of defense.
Ya got to let it cook.

However:

Will concede that I hate Florida and I do believe in Karma.

The wussification of America is real, but I do believe this team is learning. Eventually ya just get tired of getting you’re tail whooped and ya fight back....with all ya flipping have. It’s human nature. We knew this coming in. Why complain?
