Kavanaugh Confirmation

What does this have to do with Kavanaugh? And who is the one member of the Senate to be forced into resignation in the last year since this so-called "me too" movement began? A Minnesota Democrat named Al Franken. Sorry, but if you're trying to spin this into "what-a-bout-ism", it just doesn't pass.

It has everything to do with pointing out that Dems are full of fake outrage over this. It gets directly to the sincerity of their claims that this is about believing women.

I have a scar on the left side of my head from what my dad called “ having a mocking bird mouth with a hummingbird ass” in a bar and still passed one from the FBI, Homeland security and the Coast Guard . Has no nothing to do with anything except life lessons .
I love that line of your dads

...and they forced a Democratic party Senator from Minnesota out over it. There was a plausible argument to be made that Al Franken's picture with LeeAnn Tweeden was simply a sophomoric attempt at humor and that no actual sexual assault was committed. They could have also disputed the other claims against him which were unsubstantiated. They could have pointed out that the picture with Tweeden was taken years before he ran for the Senate. Instead, Feinstein and others, refused to support him and requested his resignation.... and he was gone in a month. I think their sincerity on this issue is clear. Where is the "fake" outrage?

What on earth have you seen from them on Ellison that makes you think that?

He's #2 in the DNC - they promised an investigation; instead they punted it down to the Minn. Dem party. Their thorough investigation resulted in a statement saying accusations are not enough - directly counter to their very public rhetoric about the "woman must be believed".

Also, Tweeden alleged Franken forcibly kissed her (tongue and all) after she explicitly refused (prior to the photo).

Oh yeah, Franken admitted he got handsy with ladies who posed for pictures.

Under the bus he went.

The allegations against Ellison are much more severe yet not a damn peep.

Sincerity my ass.

Oh, and @lawgator1

Back to our conversation from earlier. There is one person on the court who's credentials are somewhat questionable. Elena Kagan was close since she had plenty of academic knowledge, but no experience on the practical side.

Certainly not the case with Kavanaugh.

Laughable (but not surprising) you think K lied about his drinking and hold up the guy who's confession completely left out all the details including attempting to leave the scene of the accident.
Strange that nobody backed up the claim that he tried to leave the scene.

LeeAnn Tweeden said on the radio that she accepted Franken's apology for his inappropriate behavior. Still, Franken was gone in a month. That would never happen with a Republican Senator from a "purple" state. Again, your "what-about-ism" sucks.

Far-left Islamic activist Linda Sarsour was reportedly arrested along with several others during the confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh after she began screaming during the hearing.

They sound like a group of baby pigs.

Why is that crazy Islamic lunatic Sasour allowed to be in this country?

I made no claims about GOP hypocrisy - you are the one claim Dem "sincerity" on the issue. Franken admitted bad behavior and was expendable. Dems forced him out. The crickets surrounding Ellison are deafening - the statement regarding allegations are not enough is the height of hypocrisy compared to the treatment of K - hell, Booker called him evil and Blumenthal called him a rapist (which has not even been alleged).
