I think UT should be able to keep it close in this one. If they have not progressed enough to make a game of it, I guess I will have to lower my expectations for Pruitt a notch. It is time that their progress shows on the field a bit more.

Didn’t say he was a superstar, however, he seemed to know his assignments better. He still isn’t quick enough to get outside. Hardeman stretched the defense several times. Having a former defensive lineman that now has to cover in space and track first man out, it is a hard transition.

I know it's a hard transition, but he has absolutely no leverage on the line. I know of at least twice he was pancaked by a single blocker. He has been a huge disappoinment single coming in here so highly wanted.

I agree that he hasn’t played up to expectations. I’m just saying that he played better on Saturday.

The article released today on the current state of the Tennessee football program shows that the 2 outside linebackers are the main pressure points on the D in Pruitts scheme. JJ can't get on the field fast enough. I watch Penn State or other teams and those outside linebackers are making plays and that middle linebacker is shooting the gaps when that lineman pulls a lot of times. We need A LOT of that but its kind of non existant right now
