This board is like “Groundhog Day” sometimes.

Every year, it’s the same thing. Don’t respect anyone on the schedule outside of Alabama and some other team then, after losing games, take note of how difficult the schedule is.

A few weeks ago, West Virginia was a mediocre, barely .500 team from the Big 12 and Florida was trash.

There are definitely some orange tints around here but then again it is Vol Nation!

I'm trying not to get ahead of myself since we are still a month from shooty hoops, but I think we have a shot at winning the conference and making an elite 8 run. The pieces are in place for a great season.

Absolutely. I don’t think our regular season record will be much better, if any but we will definitely go deeper in the tourney. We will see once the brackets come out but FF is definitely possible!

Agreed. We don't deserve to be ranked. On the other hand, the only team that beat us so far is ranked 13 while we were missing important defensive elements, and yesterday we beat a 23 ranked MSU in a hostile starkville, after dominating you guys in Neyland better than UGA dominated you in Athens and we are making progress every week.

I think we deserve to drop off the rankings if we lose to LSU, but we only lost to them by 1 point last year, and I like our chances in the Swamp. You see, unlike JP, Mullen is actually coaching something out of our dumpster fire, because that is what good coaches do. There is still a decent chance we lose every SEC game going forward, but it won't be from lack of effort.

Just another day on the ole Tennessee message board, giving them the "what for". I'd pay $20 to know the truth. How many people have you already shown that post to, or told about it.

Don't pay any mind to our resident Gators regarding football. They will take any opportunity to lecture us about the Vols and how we discuss things on a Tennessee fan message board in the most condescending way possible. They can't help themselves, they are Gator fans, it is what they do.

#22 Florida
#2 Georgia
#8 Auburn
#1 Bama

Absolutely brutal for a first year staff.

One of those scrub team's only loss is to UT. (ETSU 4-1). Not that it means much, except that ETSU is not a 1AA cellar dweller this year. Atleast not yet. Sanders getting it done.

I haven't looked up other schedules, but I can't imagine many teams having a tougher schedule regarding playing ranked opponents this year. Gotta play the best to get better.

Not quite as brutal as that stretch Dooley endured back in like 2013 but it’s getting there. We played something like 7 top 20 teams in 8 weeks.

Don’t hold your breath. Look at uks schedule. Miss St is bad. Played Florida without 4 starters. S Carolina lost its qb against them. They have had a cake walk and Louisville is awful as well. It’s a joke.
