He just seems very slow. I haven’t seen him scramble or tuck the ball and run at all.

Well he does have a bad knee. And when he sees it or a designed run is called, he runs it. Hes not going to be asked to run with a bad knee.

There was an article published during JG's senior year in which his father discussed pushing for the DT label in order to expand interest in recruiting.

Butch probably believed it.

Correct but think he can be a pretty good pro style guy if we can protect or roll him out of pocket more to buy him more time.

He is an accurate drop back guy. Rolling out doesn't seem to be a strength.
