Well, I can't say I disagree. She basically provided squat, and some of her actions in there were perplexing. None of it really makes sense once you consider the full testimony of everything involved. She came off to me as a little nutty, but not overly so.

She was basically showed her hand in trying to delay, and the people in the committee were just trying to delay. The truth can still come out, provide facts to Maryland prosecutors, but that wasn't the purpose.

Its horrible political grand standing that didn't work, and will probably work against them now and in the future.

The problem is, there is probably enough evidence to potentially charge her with perjury, although those are not ideal cases. Also, Kavanaugh and the other guy definitely have grounds for a slander suit at this point, if they wanted to push it.

It was reported there was a statutory limit at the time.

There’s one part of her testimony that seemed very odd to me as soon as she said it , I’ve thought about it ever since she said it and it still rings odd to my ears . She was asked by a dem senator , what was the most horrific memory of that night to you ? , he said take all the time you need to answer . She without taking time to think about it leaned forward and said ... those two laughing at me . I find it extremely odd that in her words , she believed she was going to be raped , that he covered her mouth with his hand , held her down and tried to remove her clothes , but her most horrific memory was being laughed at. Just an observation .

So you know the meaning of both of those terms? You know the meaning of those terms in 1982? DO you discount all the testimony of the women that have known him over the years, 100s of them? What about his past girl friends? Is Ford's best friend a liar? Were all the people that she names that were supposedly at the party that denied there ever was a party liars? Do you believe she was afraid to fly?

Yeah, its my understanding depending on the action, there is no limit but I can't say I have ever checked. (I'm not a Maryland code expert, never even looked at it)

A criminal complaint really doesn't help though, there really isn't even a crime scene. She is the only witness, there really isn't much to go on.... it would seem like the victim has no facts, not really. The evidence actually points to her committing perjury, at least based on what we know. Not sure what to investigate, but her remedy could be there... the problem is not the process.... its her inability to produce credible facts which can be collaborated in any form.

I guess the other people could admit to perjury and change their story, but even that is kind of weird at this point as she can't even remember the facts of what happened, with no real plausible reason why she can't.

That's exactly what my wife said.

I stopped listening to Ford's lies as soon as I heard she flew there.
