I thought KC would be the guy because i don’t think JG is very good. I thought we could use veteran experience at the position. I said right before the year started that Jg was the favorite to start and he’s starting. I also said multiple times that no matter who plays QBs for us, i don’t think we were gonna get good qb play either way. So not sure how that spells “hard on” for someone.

You saw the guy throw in shorts a few times in the spring, declared him the starter, spent all offseason defending against any criticism of his game, and backpedaled once it became apparent to everybody around the program that Chryst would be the back up. Don’t act like you’ve been a totally imperial party lol

But on this interception the wr was held which caused the ball to be intercepted other wise it was at least a 50/50 ball.

It was still thrown into double coverage when they were playing quarters.

I still think he should be our QB right now... I’m not backing down from that. Just like i don’t think Tim Jordan should carry the ball ahead of our other 3 RBs. Just like i don’t think Abernathy should be playing, and just like i think Jennings should spend more time in the slot Bc that’s where he’s best at.

But I’m sure you’ve never thought the wrong guy has been playing before involving TN football. I don’t get this whole “the coaches would be playing him if he were better”.

Once again i said several times things like
“Either way we won’t get great QB play”
“We don’t have a great QB on roster”

So I’m not sure how you’re implying that i think Chryst is some savior.

Just like i don’t think Abernathy should be playing, and just like i think Jennings should spend more time in the slot Bc that’s where he’s best at.

Chryst is going to get plenty of opportunities the rest of the season. If the OL doesn't improve dramatically we'll likely see Shrout and maybe even McBride get meaningful snaps before the seasons over as well. JG's a tough kid but this next month of games is going to require multiple QB's to survive.

Would like to see him eventually go to T or C. He flashes at times where he is pushing someone but makes too many mistakes and too small to hold up inside in this league this yr. maybe if he adds good weight he can do it next yr.

Most of that is Butch Jones and his under under utilization of players is well documented.

I can't tell you one way or the other on Pruitt yet, 4 games in.

As for Jordan, the other 3 guys are getting split reps.

The debate on the qb is just tired. I don't think JG had been bad. And I don't know chryst is so much of an upgrade you can call it a mistake to not play him.

Pruitt has said from the jump, practice determines playing time. Seems like he's sticking to his guns on that policy.

So to all of those of you who have been following my story and those who have helped out, I have a new update. A couple of weeks ago I filed a petition to relocate and move back to Tennessee. If its approved, ill be in Gallatin next summer (lawyer and mediator think it will be). But the newest update has me pissed. When my ex's boyfriend beat my son, he was sentenced to 2 years probation and if he violated he was supposed to get 2 years in prison. Well when he was arrested for smoking meth a couple of weeks ago, he violated. Yesterday he was sentenced and went to jail.... For 40 days... And when he gets out he is completely off probation even though he had a year and a half left. I'm pissed. And then also today someone disputed a 100 dollar donation they donated to my gofundme.... So now 100 will come out of my account, even though I dont have that much in there, because I'm so far behind I havent paid my electric that was due close to a month ago because of my lawyer fees... Even though I'm still a grand behind on that payment. Man, I'm ready to move to where I have support. Sorry to rant, just dont have many people to talk to

I never said or implied the bolded part. Just that you’ve obviously been biased towards him, even when he hadn’t worn a helmet for TN yet.

Not sure why you have to misrepresent others’ arguments against you so often.


As for disagreeing with personnel decisions, everybody has at some point and a guy starting doesn’t necessarily make him better than the backup. But looking at the football they’ve played, it’s clear Chryst is the more limited guy and was brought in to make sure we still have a chance once the OL gets JG killed.

Because i do not think JG is good or will be good. I think he lacks maturity and was overrated playing in crappy NJ in high school. I don’t know why it’s such a big deal. I could be wrong and JG could go on to be a good QB and play in the nfl Who knows.

I thought Chryst could help us more Bc the experience he has and he gets the ball out quicker. He isn’t as athletically gifted as JG but that’s about #6 on the list of things that make up a good qb.

That’s my stance. It has been for a while. Idk why it’s such a big deal.

We have evolved to being in complete agreement. We got there via different paths and analysis, yet, we see it exactly the same.

Coaches are people with great attributes and flaws alike. They cannot divorce themselves from the relationships they make with real people as players like fans and outside analysts can/do. Personally, I'm not going to accept the decisions of coaches in blind faith who are losing games due to bad play of the players they choose to put on the field. The last decade of futility should have taught everybody that. We all have eyes and a world of information sources at our finger tips. I believe CJP/staff will continue to improve and figure it out over time. But if there is one flaw that will cause them to fail, it is this one. You cannot continue to play guys because of how they practice or behave off the field/in the locker room if they cannot get it done on game day.
