I think JG is athletic enough to be moving in the pocket more making it hard on Defenders to get shots on him. He doesn’t move well in the pocket imo.

And i think he’s missed several downfield shots by underthrowing and floating them. Thats not good for someone who is supposed to be oozing with arm talent.

It’s hard to get the ball out in three seconds if throwing a deep pass. Takes 4.4 seconds for your best receivers to get 40 yards downfield on air. They do need to roll him more as long as the tackle can control the end.

You keep talking about or individual talent and that doesn’t mean much if it doesn’t work together. Some of us just can’t sit on VN all day posting. I will jump in if I wish when I wish because you sure as heck do.

Works both ways. The horses gotta have the scheme and coaches too. Those horses in LA were the worst offense in the league before McVay got there.

You’re proving that you don’t even know the original discussion. It was about if our OL is that bad or if we weren’t doing enough things to help them.

My point was they are plenty of teams, NFL or P5) that still have a productive offense with lesser guys on the OL. We could be doing more things with both Scheme, and JG being quicker getting the ball out and moving more inside the pocket would help them. It would also keep JG from taking 12 chin shots a game too.

That’s fair but they also brought in Brandin cooks who may be the best deep threat in football and two pro bowl OL in whitworth and Sullivan, when mcvay took over. Mcvay also drafted cooper kupp.

Richmond had offers from bama, texas, Ohio state, auburn, Clemson, LSU, Oklahoma etc. but you are right...Pitt and Missouri wouldn’t want him. You win.
