I did the comparison a couple of days ago on the OL and front seven. They have one 4 star on the OL and one 4 star in the front seven. Josh Allen is a projected first round draft pick at LB/DE, and he was a 2 star on 247 composite and 3 star on Rivals. I didn’t see the MSU game, but apparently he was awesome. I believe UK does have some talent in the secondary.

UK’s 2016 class consisted of fourteen 3 stars and six 2 stars- 20 of their 25.

Thanks, that's a crazy stat and we need to let that sink in with comparison to our roster and what Dip-wad Botch did or clearly DIDN'T DO

The stability they've had has led to growth and maturation on the field. We have a little more talent but with bad coaching and no winning mentality. They're a very confident team and we have a lot of losers at the moment.

I think stability and mental attitude plays a big role, agree

Ab. So. Lutely.

Raw talent

Coaching ability

Strength and Conditioning

Coaching stability

and good ol' fashioned Experience

Any other variables I'm missing?

Agree but so then let's look at a 5yr stability coaching staff of Butch Jones and see where we are in comparison to the stability of KY's program under a coach that has been there not much longer...

Hey POA,
I am embarrassed to say that was me. When my AmEx bill came in, it didn’t say gofundme, it said “child support “ in California. Confused the hades out of me so I thought that it was a fraudulent card.
Man, I am so sorry.
Contact me through my email at jkay@arlingtonortho.com and I will make it right. I have had a rough couple weeks and I thought 2+2= dinosaur when I saw that AmEx statement. Just didn’t click at all.

What is the roster talent comparisons between TN and KY right now? Are they doing so well because of coaching stability? Crazy the difference in on-field play.

I posted this I think last week in one of the recruit's threads. It's from the 247 composite team talent rankings based off of who was on the roster at the beginning of this season.

This is Kentucky's starting offensive line:

You can't just ignore the coaching ability and S&C factors...

Maybe I'm missing coaching chemistry as a factor in there, too.

Shoop has ability. Hoke has some ability (DL, maybe not DC, def not HC). Very clear chemistry was lacking in that staff from the top down.

Doc that is one of the most stand up things I’ve witnessed on here. Really easy to just slide into oblivion being anonymous. That’s a character move by standing up and owning it.

No, brainless move on my part...seemed like way over a month since I donated to his gofundme.

Thanks, I am trying to teach my son that you have to own up to your mistakes...I couldn’t very well ignore that mistake of mine...
I am just thankful that I saw his post. I just skipped about 20 pages to catch up. Newest post was POAs...can anyone say divine intervention? I know I can believe that it was just that.

I will have to send him money directly...I am evidently too ignorant to comprehend all these internet innovations lol.

Now I just have to wait for POA to contact me... if anyone knows how to reach him, please help a brother out.

Luckily for me, I learnt medicine prior to the internet 😎

Newt thinks Chryst is better at handing off. That dude is a good backup to have, and I sm grateful, but I don't think he has ever shown anything to say he is any better that JG.

Gaurantano is not a problem, but he will not last much longer IMO, I think he will be hurt badly at some point the next few weeks, and Chryst will be lucky to survive the defenses we are going to face also.

Our OL is going to get them both killed.

Not just the OL but the tight ends, H backs and running backs as well are helping them to their demise.

Okay I admitted that I am ignorant...now you’re just mocking me.
Not nice to make fun of the dimwit 😳

Just kidding. Thanks!

Swing and a miss. The back-up won many more games than he lost and performed better at his previous gig than the current starter has in his starts. There is a reasonable debate to be had on who should be starting. Of course that will not change who CJP chooses.

Some of you guys post such crap and make it obvious you don’t know 💩

I’m not yet sold on Kentucky but clearly they beat Florida and Miss State so that gets attention. Florida was without Reese and CeCe Jefferson on defense. I’m not sold on Florida either. I’m surprised that Miss State didn’t have a better showing against the cats but State has a new coaching staff and for some reason they couldn’t run the ball at all last week. If state can’t run the ball their offense is dead in the water.

Kentucky has S. Carolina (H), Texas A&M (A), bye, Vandy (H), Missouri (A), Georgia (H), & Tennessee (A). We’ll see what they look like after that stretch. They finish the season with MTSU (H) and Louisville (A). I think they win the last two so they’ll make a bowl but they may not win too many more. Jmo.

If you think CJP isn’t doing everything he possibly can to win as many games this year as possible - including starting the QB he thinks gives us the best chance to win - then you’re misguided.

And KC is so good that Stanford fans were glad to see him go, and his coach encouraged him to leave.

But jkleno knows more than all these foosball of the deble coaches

Richmond actually played decent against Florida if you payed attention.

One guy on the entire OL played decent. That’s what every OL coach in the country wants is to just have one guy on the line play decent. Guy who has played on a UT line has posted how screwed up the line play has been and y’all don’t listen. JG has issues but he’s the best QB on the roster right now.

That’s your opinion, but don’t get mad at me when i believe we have better OLmen on roster than schools like: Vandy, wake Forrest, Rutgers, Virginia, and whatever crappy school you want to put in there.

They have to be able to work together and view as a unit and not individuals. You may be in the complex but that doesn’t mean you are knowledgeable about the game. Not with some of the post you have posted.
