Seems like a Google search and a quick check of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn etc would be standard operating procedure nowadays.

I checked the Hill report and they are suggesting they haven't verified the Twitter account is the same as the accuser.

Given Whitehouse is the same guy floating the "gambling problem" theory about Kavanaugh I'm guessing he'll believe just about anything someone tells him about Kavanaugh.
