Kavanaugh Confirmation

You laugh, but candor is extremely important to the bar. I have gone through a bar interview because of my spotty past and it is an exercise in humility. Two hours of questioning by a panel of three on every thing I ever did wrong from the age of 10 on. Felt like I had been anally violated by a horse when it was over.

He's been a member of the Bar for 30 years. Has this ever been brought up before?

All of the witnesses Ford has identified at the party, including Kavanaugh, Judge, and another classmate, Patrick Smyth, have denied knowledge of the alleged assault under penalty of felony in statements to the Judiciary Committee.

However, a woman, Leland Ingham Keyser, a former classmate of Ford's at the Holton-Arms all-girls school in Maryland, has since been identified by Ford as the fourth witness at the party. In a dramatic twist, Keyser emerged Saturday night to say she doesn’t know Kavanaugh or remember being at the party with him.

Not surprised they would back one of their own. Let a liberal be in the same exact situation and they'll be the first to show up for the public stoning. They'll even provide the stones for a modest donation.
All politics are tribal and the tribe circles the wagons to defend on of their own. If Kavanaugh were a liberal judge liberals would line up to defend him.

Are the liberals lining up to confront Ellison?

Yep, politics are pretty transparent these days.
Always have been, always will be. This notion that politics are worse or more uncivil than they used to be is BS. Perhaps just how bad they are or how uncivil they are is easier to see than it ever has been, but it has always been getting easier to see over time because of technology and various forms of mass media.

IMO, "politics is worse than it ever has been" is no different from "these Millennials are ruining everything" or "kids and their music these days."
