Getting less PT than Pruitt’s guys like AT and Thompson may have soured him.

I’ve been kinda worried about how some upperclassmen wouldn’t react to losing PT and games for a while. We’ve probably just got some guys that need to go.

I spoke about transfers cause I had already heard Pruitt would be playing his guys more. Thankful that he is.

Okay.

I begrudgingly went to see the alma mater play South Alabama with a group of friends. I knew I was going to miss the Florida game, but it was probably for the best. I followed the box score updates sparingly, which was enough to know it was a sh!tshow.

Yesterday, I ignored all sports outside of fantasy football, where my Cam Newton-->Christian McCaffery connection is tearing it up. I did see a couple of things about Sapp getting sent to the locker room, a late hit on JG, and all-around reactionary doom and gloom. I also saw the drive chart that started Fumble, INT, Punt, Safety, Crap, Crap, Crap all the way down.

Only now did I subject myself to the longest "highlight" video I could find available on YouTube. Yes, it did look bad. (It also sounded really bad, who's the boy scout that called the game? He's more generic than the commentators you'd hear on video games. Awful.) I did see some pressure from the DL. I saw some good runs. I saw competence in spots. It was just heavily outweighed by our bedwettings that Florida was able to take advantage of.

This is the first I've been to VN since Saturday morning. I'm not going to read through 1500 posts to catch up.

Unofficial poll, choose A, B, or C if you could:

A) We're only going to beat Charlotte now, and CJP's overall trajectory with Tennessee has dipped.

B) We may only beat Charlotte and maybe Vandy or something from here on out, but it's always darkest before dawn, and we should be patient with Pruitt. We'll still be alright in a couple/few years.

C) Florida was a fluke. They came out ready, and we crapped the bed under a lot of pressure. We still have a puncher's chance against Carolina/Mizzou/Kentucky/Vandy, and may still be able to get to a bowl game. We're on track, it was an ugly game.

Edit:

D) People who answer this are either too mentally exhausted, can't think critically, or think they're utilizing an edgy brand of humor.
C

But signing day is by far the most important day in the next year. This team has to be fixed in February

B/C hybrid

B - because it was just the 4th game. I believe the staff will start getting the right guys on the field at the same time for more than one or two plays at a time.

Still on the JG train. We need to give him more help with playcalling and I guess we need to max protect more. We are still sucking at protecting him. I have not seen anything from Chryst (in very limited snaps) that indicates he would be an upgrade.
Agreed the hate JG is getting is unwarranted IMO

Turn in your equipment NOW you piss poor idiotic pieces of NAIA crap.
Agreed Pruitt sounded surprised that more guys didn’t transfer when he took over. I think that’ll change. This roster will look completely different come next season and it’s for the good IMO

It would be very very very difficult for it to to look worse
