I don't think you understand. Even if the Senate votes to confirm him, the Democrats will stop at nothing now they are invested in this. Forget about impeachment hearings for Trump, they'll go after Kavanaugh lock, stock and barrel.

Put Ramirez’s ass under oath today or tomorrow and prosecute her if she’s found lying.

The article makes reference that NYT could not find a single corroborating witness for Ramirez.

"Ms. Ramirez herself contacted former Yale classmates asking if they recalled the incident and told some of them that she could not be certain Mr. Kavanaugh was the one who exposed himself.”

No I do understand. And I’m sure Kavanaugh understands. If he wants his name and reputation cleared he has to stay the course at least with his commitment. Trump just tweeted he doesn’t intend to pull his name right now anyway.

Gorsuch was simply replacing Scalia. His nomination had no effect on the makeup of the court. Kavanaugh would cement a conservative Court for a generation. Clearly you can see the difference between the nominations.

Yep, we had to preserve our stock of established professional women willing to risk their life, careers, and liberty by lying about sexual assaults until we had Kennedy's seat up. Man, you guys figure us out every time. Did Soros let you in on this? He's got such loose lips.

Thus far from what we’ve read of these two you can preserve them all you want they’re a lost cause.

Risk their lives by lying? Are they going to publicly executed if they’re found to be lying? This isn’t some half baked conspiracy theory. I was simply pointing out that there is a clear difference in the impact that the two nominations have on the court.

I was a young man in college when the Clarence Thomas hearing went down. I was not political but was a Democrat by default. Not being political and all, I was convinced by the average college talk I should side with Anita Hill. Clarence Thomas was labeled an Uncle Tom. Decades later I now understand what a joke it was. Clarence Thomas is a good man and his closing remarks should forever be etched into the minds of the people he directed it at even though many are still in denial.

I have a friend from N.Y. who is moving to Tennessee soon. He and his wife are down here now, house hunting. The man is 59 years old and had never voted until 2016, when he came out and voted for Trump. He is even more motivated to vote for him again.
