I get that but you said sitting G wouldn't make a difference either. I had the confused.

I think we're going to have to play all the QBs. Whoever can hand the ball off quickest has the best chance of surviving behind that OL. JG is probably going to be sore for a few weeks. Hopefully, it's nothing worse.

Oh i lost my mind on that. 4 guys playing hero ball let a single Gator recover. Theres always supposed to be a "clear out" guy who just murders that front line dude and the rest grt the ball. What a great kick too.
The opening 2nd half kickoff fumble, followed by the UF running back walking into the end zone broke me. An I was already apathetic as hell. It’s just awful all around. These guys look mentally broken.

The bad part is Florida didnt out athlete or dominate us. They piled on 2 late scores when it was already over to make it look worse but, yet again, UT beat themselves, this time worse than ever. We could have beaten them. We outplayed them in most ways except execution which is the biggest. Oh and where the hell were the PI calls? I usually dont blame refs but holy missed calls batman. Blatant interference over and over.

If he's being truthful that post doesn't come off as childish one bit.

Yes it does.

If he’s being truthful, you approach your coach and discuss it. Have your coach come out and say there was a miscommunication and correct it.

You don’t send a tweet out Sunday morning challenging your coach. Childish.

My personal thoughts:

1. The offensive play calling was the worst I’ve seen. We aren’t currently built as a power running team. I understand we may want to be that in the future, but we don’t have the personnel today to execute that game plan. If the other team knows we’re going to run, and we’re going to run between the tackles, they will stop us. Good coaches need to adjust their scheme to fit the players. I haven’t seen that happen on offense yet.

2. JG can be a playmaker, but he doesn’t have any feel for anticipation. He doesn’t throw his receivers open. This leads to him holding on to the ball for 1-2 seconds longer than he should. Those seconds are huge when playing the pass rushing athletes we go against.

3. Pruitt was super aggressive, and he played to win instead of playing not to lose. That said, he needs to learn to pick his spots. We all hated Butch’s chart, but probabilities exist for a reason. A good head coach uses ALL existing data to make the best decision possible and put his players in a position to win. That includes knowing probability of success, understanding opposition tendencies, and understanding game situation. Hopefully this will be an area of quick growth for CJP.

4. We need to fix our interior offensive line, and we need to take advantage of our QBs mobility by moving the pocket. I think Trey is needed at guard. We are being manhandled inside, and he is by far our most physical lineman. Nothing disrupts a QB or run game more than interior pressure, and both of these tactics can help mitigate that until we have more SEC caliber linemen to fill our holes.

5. Recruiting with this on-field product will be tough, but it is on CJP and his staff to sell a vision. We need to show growth and show that we can develop players. They need to create an environment that makes the players want to work and grow.

Pruitt said he called the goal line defense on the 50 yard line to try to give our guys a chance to get back in the ball game even though he knew if Florida broke the line of scrimmage they'd have a touchdown. I was wondering if Nick Saban would have allowed him to make that call. I think Pruitt's play calling has given up 4 TDs so far this season on explosive plays. As a head coach this is his first time operating without any checks on his decision making.

Trading the markets exposes a lot of human weaknesses and tendencies. One of those is called revenge trading. The trader just took a loss or a series of losses and vows to get his money back. So he forfeits any patience and goes with revenge trading. It doesn't work mostly because it's driven by emotion and not discipline. I don’t know yet and time will tell but we may have a revenge coach. Usually revenge traders get wiped out and lose everything. Let’s hope this is not our destiny.
I asked myself the same thing, whether he makes that call under Saban. My guess is no.

Sapp needs to be gone
There is about 40 of what is being called on here by some “one of the most talented teams in the east” that need to move on to cusa, division 2 or wherever else they would like to go to play. I listen to some on here that get pissed on Tennessee talent that is going elsewhere or being overlooked and some should be here but there are a bunch ( not just from Tennessee) that we’re recruited by BJ (very befitting initials) that may have had some stars but can not play in the sec. They will be exposed and disposed by this coach. Will take time but will happen.

I think at this point it’s safe to say the bottom has truly fallen out for the program. The only thing that may ever save it is a UW style “have a generational coach fall into your lap” moment. The team is not that good, recruiting is going to suffer, fan support is going to drop further. It’s a vicious cycle at this point.

I don’t think Tennessee will ever truly be at Colorado levels of awful because CU self-imposed most of the harshest penalties that handicapped their program, but it’s at least a comparable situation.
