Hey on the bright side, if Pruitt is our version of Muschamp if we make the right hire after him we’ll be very good in no time

As for the offense, we desperately need to find at least one John Kelly. I'm not a huge fan of the RB by committee model (at least not in terms of a committee this big). We need to establish our work horses and that doesn't seem clear yet. I'd also like to see us throw to Chandler more. He needs to ball and at least an inch or two to maneuver in and our OL isn't giving him that.

Banks and Chandler need to be our Two Backs. Banks gives breathers for Chandler and when you wanna “gash a team” by running between the tackles 101 times a game lol

I still want to know how Pope got caught from behind on that play. He had a 40 yard running start lol.
Their defensive backs paid attention on "angle of attack" day in practice. I sit in the upper deck and about 3 steps after he caught if I knew that guy was going to get him. It was plain as day from were I swept sit.

Tim Jordan doesn't need to even sniff the field, imo.

On that INT by JG in double coverage where the DB made a diving catch. Did we run PA? Or was it pass the whole way
Just checked. It was a PA. UF was already destroying us, they had been conservative on defense all quarter. Whats the point of a PA lol... They brought 3 guys to rush🤦‍♂️

In other news, I'm still not overly impressed with SC or Mizzou (although Mizzou played with a lot of fight today and I respect that). UGA got dominated on the LOS for much of that game and isn't nearly the team they were last season (they'll still kill us tho). Kentucky is probably better than I thought they were *but* I also feel like State was overhyped this offseason.

And most importantly, as historically bad as we are, we're still not as bad as poor Arkansas. Hell we might even be better than OM.

Mizzou played about how I expected. I think they’re better than some on here wanna admit, but I don’t think they’re “legit“. They good WR’s, RB, Oline and QB. Their defense seems to be improved. I’m honestly shocked by UK beating MSU the way they did

We find new and inventive ways to lose. Hopefully this team isnt too shell-shocked and can avoid injuries by the time we roll into USCe. We gave this game to Florida. That said, I still think there isnt much difference in the SECe teams after GA. Also believe the team will get better, if they can survive the next month. Still think we're a 5-7 team, if we play buttoned up. As bad as it was last year, we could have one FL, USCe and KY. Most of this team just quit tonight. We are going to have to fight for everything, so we don't have margin for error. Hopefully Pruitt can use it as teaching point. We should not be pressured to win this year, Pruitt has a couple of Mulligans and no one expects anything more.

Anyone know what Hall's injury status is??
He played a little vs WVU, a lot vs ETSU, non vs Utep. Idk about tonight I honestly wasn’t paying much attention late in the game. I don’t remember seeing him but maybe I’m wrong. Thought I read he practiced at LT

He does ok on certain runs (when hes able to get the edge) and that Wildcat, granted it was vs Utep. I bet he’d make a solid kick returner
He's slow as Christmas, dude. Just think of that Wildcat with someone like Chandler, Jennings, or maybe even Tyler Byrd getting the edge.

Chandler and London, imo. I like Banks, but he has to hold on to football.

I wouldn't object to that either. I do think we need to choose two and get them in rhythm. Tryouts should be over at this point. Let's give the ones who have an edge a chance to really get into the game.

Would be nice if he could take the spot and we could move Trey back to guard.
Just think, if our OL was just...mediocre, how much better this team might be. Yes, defense has to keep getting better, and keep tightening some screws; but, no way do I put any of this tonight on them. Whenever your offense is getting COMPLETELY OVERWHELMED!!! like ours did tonight, the defense can only do so much. I'm not saying the D is great, but I believe it's a 6-7 win defense. Unfortunately, our offense may keep us from that. That's why I beleieve, no matter what, we have to keep our OL class together, and land Wright. We do that, and I believe we'll be much improved next yr, and moving forward from there. All other position groups I am feeling ok about, good even, at some spots...unfortunatley, our OL has us competing with Arkansas for the worst team in the SEC.

We must haul in a good OL class at ALL costs. I believe Will Friend is as good an OL coach as anyone, including Pittman, but we need both talent and depth there. We cannot continue to function without linemen.
