We bring in very similar revenue that Bama does. Yet we spend 1/2 as much on football. We are at the top from a profitability standpoint. That's why we don't spend money. Don't have to to be one of the most profitable ADs in the country.I completely agree. You can go back and check my posts from the start of the search. I wanted Fisher bad. I have friends at FSU who said he was miserable. Offer him 8+ million dollars (i know texas am offered 10) and make him say no.
And when he says no... go to David Shaw and offer him 8+ million. And if he says no go to Chris Peterson and offer him 8+?million dollars.
Bama could pay nick savan 20 million dollars and he would still be under paid based on the revenu his program creates.

I agree with this. The defense has their lapses, but they aren't the problem the whole. They're getting better. Offense is horrendous and one of the major problems is the play calling.Offensive philosophy needs to be adjusted for us to have any shot at winning another game this year. It’s not working, and Tyson isn’t adjusting his system to the players. Very bad sign. Pruitt played an aggressive game imo, and took his chances. The defense is getting better and better weekly. It was hard to see tonight, but I believe the defense is coming along. Just so tired of being let down...sucks
I think jg's problem is that he knows he can make the throws but they very rarely give him the opportunity to make the throws that when he gets the chance he waits for the deep ball. Waiting for his receivers to break away from coverage. You know your OL sucks. Don’t try so many shots down field, look to move in the pocket more.
I agree he is in a tough spot but they are things a QB and a play caller can do to not get themselves killed.
