She was complaining that he went ahead and scheduled a Monday vote before the deadline to respond. I'm assume he was just putting in the "reservation"; it's not like he hasn't cancelled several votes already. IOW, he put it on the schedule in case she didn't agree to terms, she tried to use that as evidence he's dealing in bad faith.

Media will take her side.

Yeah this reads like that. And it’s what he should have done I think.

“I’m extending the deadline for response yet again to 10 o’clock this evening," Grassley, R-Iowa, said. "I’m providing a notice of a vote to occur Monday in the event that Dr. Ford’s attorneys don’t respond or Dr. Ford decides not to testify. In the event that we can come to a reasonable resolution as I’ve been seeking all week, then I will postpone the committee vote to accommodate her testimony."

That team is making her look bad whomever is giving the advise . I asked the question yesterday , why do you need a handler to help you “ navigate congress “ if you are just coming to tell your honest story . Her lawyer will be right beside her the whole time .

In case this Kavanaugh character gets confirmed, I have a Plan B for a couple of stocks. I'm investing a REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) that specializes in renting back alley property, and also investing in a coat hanger factory.

I don't have a problem with her having a handler. It's going to be intimidating as hell to be on national TV in front of the Senate committee. (of course it is for K too).

In addition to her lawyer she'll have all the D Senators objecting, grandstanding and making all sorts of noises. It will be completely insane and unprofessional.

Wonder if they are going to keep the public (protestors) out. Seems they should for nothing other than the optics of security.

Edit: I assume he's just giving her another day to accept the Wednesday date, as opposed to pushing the testimony to Thursday. Right?
