I'm convinced that this is nothing more than a railroad by the far left and at this point hope he gets confirmed out of spite.

Kav seems pretty reasonable, his replacement could be less so.

The accuser is being used. I cannot say if she's complicit or not but regardless she is being cynically used with a goal of either stopping this nomination or using the confirmation as an election tactic. Shameless.

So let me see if I have this straight. We need the FBI to investigate a possible crime(not Federal so not even their jurisdiction) that may or may not have been committed 35-36 years ago(we don't even know what year this took place)? We need to track down everyone that went to both prep schools during a 2 year period and arrange interviews for all of them. We need to find out if any of them remember a party where swimsuits were worn and then find out if they remember anything about these parties that is relevant to this claim? Then even if someone says they remember something, we need to investigate them to determine if they have a motive for their sudden recollection(either pro or con). Even if all of this was done and they found several people to back each side, it all comes downs down to a he said/she said that happened when these two were both teenagers. This is nothing but a Dem play for time and it is disgusting. This is why we are stuck with the imbeciles in both parties that we have now. No one in their right mind would want anything to do with the current hyper-partisan BS going. Such a shame!

Apparently He told politico earlier today that if Dr. Ford doesn’t show up on Monday, he supports moving on and holding a vote on Wednesday. Hopefully this entire spectacle is coming to an end.

What's the chance that the Dems specifically are seeking the FBI to conduct the investigation specifically because they know it would require the POTUS to request it?

Honest question.... After conducting six background investigations with no issues or allegations, why would they need to investigate again? The FBI doesn't handle matters like this anyway, and there's not even a specific date or location of the alleged event in the first place to investigate.
