Kavanaugh Confirmation

This is surreal. So when do we get the counter letter from the boys prep school pointing out that those Holton chicks are loose lipped tramps that were always making stuff up? Wow...

Open Letter from Holton-Arms Alumnae in Support of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford

We are alumnae of Holton-Arms School, and we are writing in support of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, a fellow Holton graduate.
We believe Dr. Blasey Ford and are grateful that she came forward to tell her story. It demands a thorough and independent investigation before the Senate can reasonably vote on Brett Kavanaugh's nomination to a lifetime seat on the nation's highest court.

Dr. Blasey Ford's experience is all too consistent with stories we heard and lived while attending Holton. Many of us are survivors ourselves.

Holton’s motto teaches students to “find a way or make one.” We dream of making a world where women are free from harassment, assault and sexual violence. We hold deep gratitude to Dr. Blasey Ford for bravely stepping forward and bringing us closer to that world we all seek.

Sincerely,
Holton Alumae in Support of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford
A group of 200+ alumnae from the classes of 1967-2018

It sure as Heck is a very Odd coincidence, no matter how you try to Spin it.

Yes and no. They lived in the area, parents had a house foreclosed upon and she happened to be assigned to be the judge. Really a function of how many judges they had in that area at the time. Typical circuits here have up to 6. Assuming there were 6 there at the time, the odds that she would get the case are about 17 percent.

If she issued some kind of draconian or terribly harsh order, maybe you'd have a point. From the docket I question whether they ever even personally appeared in front of her.

It's interesting how one of the articles about the alleged incident made reference to "elite prep school boys" - I don't recall it mentioning the accuser also went to an "elite prep school".

How do you know how many of the 200 didn't know Dr. Ford? That's right, you don't know.

Hmmm, let me see - maybe the date range for the 200 - physical impossibility for some to have known her 35 years ago? maybe the fact that there is no mention these are people who knew here then or know her now.

their connection is they went to the same prep school she did.

There is no doubt that things are a little fuzzy with the recollection. Some of the few things I can remember from house parties, back in the day, were when somebody committed a major party foul. This alleged incident would qualify, but there would have to be at least another witness for the account to carry any weight.

Kavanaugh may have made things easier for himself by declaring he was never at said party, but he may have committed an unforced error, if his recollection is faulty.

Looks like she will get a chance to speak to the committee, should be interesting.

Where were you, who were you with and what did you do sometime in September 35 years ago? She said you assaulted her.

If an accusation from this long ago nd this vague can bring down a SCOTUS nominee and ruin his career, every man should be worried.

The "hero" tag has already been applied to Ford.

There is plenty I don't remember, but I can say, in fairness, I have been a victim of mistaken identity after such parties. This isn't a defense, mind you, it's the truth.

Stop bringing truth into a political dog fight . What’s wrong with you ? 😂

How would you feel about OJ's guilt if he had 65 women sign a letter saying he didn't kill them?

Comparing Kavanaugh to OJ is a bit of a stretch and indicative of your partisan bias. No evidence exists that Kavanaugh acted inappropriately, just an accusation. The letter from the 65 women serves the role of character witnesses. No corroborating witnesses have stepped forward. The one other person said to be there has denied it happened.

It's akin to me saying I saw you rape a goat last week.

Looks like the ladies at Holton Arms are looking for some free publicity since literally not one single rational person on the planet gives a sht whether or not the alumnae supports this broad or not. What is she claiming anyway? Did he diddle her? Tune in Tokyo?
