Has anyone else noticed that the Dr. Pepper - Larry Culpepper commercials are not airing this season? 568C4C10-175E-4C2C-A496-4D2DE36ACCD9.jpegHe kind of became a staple of college football for me...almost kind of a role model for me. He will be missed.

I try to avoid commercials as much as I can, but I thought these were pretty clever when they first came out. Funny idea, but pretty much played-out, IMO.

The title town mockumentary thing they’ve moved on to is far worse than Larry

I liked Larry. I admit I didn't drink any Dr. Pepper at all, so I guess maybe they shouldn't bother advertising. I know what it tastes like, I'll drink one when I feel like it.

Dos Equis replacing The Most Interesting Man in the World is one of the most head-scratching marketing decisions I've ever seen. Those commercials were genuinely funny, I didn't get the impression that the campaign had run its course at all (i.e., I didn't hear anybody complain that it was getting old), and people did a lot of research showing how that campaign had really helped Dos Equis build their brand in the United States (really caught up to Corona) at a time when people were moving away from mass-produced beer by big breweries. People made countless internet memes based off of that commercial and Millennials (important demo) loved it. It was a wildly successful campaign. They replaced him with a younger guy, and now the whole campaign is over.

Anyone else sick of the Farmers insurance commercials. We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two, Yeah that one's run it's course already

Not only that they added two female clowns. Its getting to the point where I don't even want to go to sonic. The commercials make me sick.
They are the main actresses from The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt which actually was a really funny show the first two seasons.

Which proves that its the writing of those commercials that make them terrible, because even with them they aren't funny.

They always think they can top it. But yeah, it was a bad decision because the guy was so iconic you couldn't really replace him.

Still him going into space with gorgeous women was the best way to end it. Just too soon.
