Kennedy is a bummer loss, but I believe we have enough depth here to not miss a beat. This OL coach we have is legit

Maybe my expectations were too high, but this loss hurts more than most. Either way, I expect UTs secondary to improve. My biggest worry is the DL, especially when the offense passes, no pressure. Surely, UT finds a way to pressure the QB by the time, Florida rolls around
What up The Dog. It does hurt. I had to take several days to digest what is apparent in that our team still need a year in S&C, taking 2 years off takes 2 years of lifting to get back to SEC level. We do have have talent, it is just going totake a year of study to Really learn our new scheme.(Talking defense, offense is going to be fine). So I am not getting g my hopes up for more than 6 wins. Anything more would be awesome, showing they picked everything up faster than alot would believe capable of. But what I am still excited to see is the turnaround from the sorriest team in the SEC back to the top. Last weekend was the a growing pain. I am sure that the team watching it with the coaches will do something to their mental makeup. They know these coaches are winners, they know they let them down. I fully believe they want to impress them and will use this Growing Pain as a point in reference to the rest of this season. Still got to give it up toWV. They executed like a well oiled machine. If they make it to the playoffs this year will it make any of you feel better, knowing that was our first game and new first time HC and new Scheme and ALL new coaches and assistant's? So just sit back(with a big ol fatty) and watch and enjoy our Rebuild. We are going from the bottom to the top MF's. Expect some things to not go out way, but Know that we Will learn from them. GBO

Based on what? That would leave a hole at LG unless they really like Calbert that much more than Richmond

Good point. Based off of practice reports yesterday, they are working Jamir at right tackle. I think Carvin will be at one of the guard spots, maybe left guard, and that leaves a hole at right guard. I just think that Jamir is going to be on the field, so if its right tackle, its right tackle.

Just my opinion but based off of practice reports from yesterday.

Ahhh ok thanks. Must have missed it. With Kennedy going down he probably moves back to Guard. Smith, Jahmir, Johnson, Carvin, Richmond will likely be the Oline imo. I’m sure Tatum and Hall will play a lot the next two weeks too and give the coaches something to think about before the UF game

Unbelievably terrible luck for Kennedy. Feel awful for the young man. Anyone here familiar with what circumstances are needed to get a 2nd medical redshirt from the NCAA?
If his first redshirt was medically related then he’s eligible to apply for another at the end of his career.

After spring, the coaches made it a priority to bring in someone other than Johnson at center. JG and Johnson have practiced together, but Kennedy is a big loss. If there are two players we need, it's Kennedy and Smith to anchor the OL.

If that's accurate I dont see us getting a top 25 recruiting class
We gotta beat Florida and finish at least 5-7...

Im at the point where 6-6 would be money son, my how things have changed in one week
