Probably similar. But fan response isn't as important as administration response in this issue. I expect fans to defend him. I don't think it's appropriate for the BoT.

I agree with this and ultimately believe that our BOT and administration wouldn't hesitate to cut ties. We are at least more functional in that regard. The fact that tOSU produced a pretty damning internal report only to say 'hey, it's all good' tells me that they are incredibly divided as an institution. It's one of the reasons keeping BOT appointments less partisan and more focused on the actual university is so important (it's hard to do but very, very important).

If I were a tOSU alum I'd be terrified of the situation I'm seeing play out there.

an open records request is a right by the public within State law from a state body, which Ohio state is. property of the Ohio state university was tampered with in an effort to suppress information that is guaranteed to the public upon request. this convo apparently happened a week after the request. they violated the law.

The problem is that if Ohio is anything like most other states their Sunshine Laws are toothless. Politicians tout 'open records' and then make it impossible to get those records. There's little penalty if the office/person who is supposed to comply doesn't do a thing.

That place opened back up and sells “mountain burgers” again.

a delay is one thing but intentionally trying t destroy is a different animal. I agree that no one in Ohio will have the balls to prosecute but that's kind of the problem.
