Very boring broadcast for sure. I think Tess does a good job but he needs a “Character” opposite of him. Ray Lewis, Randy Moss, Steve Spurrier type would do great IMO.

Jason is a HOF player, certainly won’t last long in the booth IMO.

I think Jason is doing a really good job tonight. Great insight and much more Xs and Os oriented. I’m enjoying him so far.

I’d much rather listen to this than a loudmouth character like the guys you listed.

Thought the same thing about Aikman and Romo...moreso Aikman. Never saw any exhibition of personality through the three Super Bowls. Course he had NFL Europe to gear up his broadcasting chops. Of course Emmitt Smith failed and Joe Montana was horrible. I just think for this kind of gig, they vetted Witten to see if he had anything...so maybe this is him pacing himself.

he says "all right" alot doesnt he...lol

I was watching some espn show the other day and they were highlighting SEC teams. They showed Saban and Tosh Lupoi talking to the players and both of them were saying “aight” every other word too. Makes me wanna puke when I hear Pruitt say it now. I just wonder who got it from who.

I like the Xs and Os also. If we are strictly going with that criteria, Romo does a much better job with it. I just think there are better options out there. I enjoyed a Gruden type, brought the knowledge and entertainment. Let’s face it, the NFL is very boring, this booth lineup just adds to it.

I do like Romo a lot too.

I think it’s hard to pick guys that everyone likes. Some like the entertainment factor in the booth more and others like guys who point out more things the casual fan might not notice.

Unless it’s Andre Ware, I’ll listen to anyone call a game and not be phased by it.

Kinda a stupid question to ask considering only one of those 3 has lived in the south all of their life.

I think Romo is going to be there a long time, especially if they don’t “reign”’him in a little bit. If they just leave him alone and let him do his thing, he will be great.

Like someone said earlier. Right behind Smith. Though in this case I'd keep him at guard and get combo block with him going to the second level. Have the tackle kick out the end and h back take care of the Sam. Chandler free into the second level every run.... I'll be right back

Wash your hands, and then...

I guess we might as well cancel the season.

Laugh at me while you still can. I get it, but it will not be funny when we face any defense worth a crap.

And and this point it probably Shrout.

JG may be losing his role. It could be possible, whether people like it or not, that if you with a game manager it's Chryst, if you want a gunslinger it's Shrout.

Where does guarantano fit it, if this is the case? And yes he took way too many sacks last year, so many it skewed the stats people still seem to rave about. If you count stats the way NFL does (counting a sack as a passing attempt) which you really should his actual completion percentage is 52%. He took that many sacks.

I'm sure Pruitt sees this as the x-factor. I'd he's STILL holding the ball too long that essentially torpedoes his chances.

Stop acting like you know what JG is and isnt doing. JG is better than KC or Shrout. Especially if we are using stats.
