Has JJ Peterson been at any practices?

Pruitt may have gotten him because the kid already knew he couldn't get in elsewhere.....just a maybe. The other question is how do you know he is doing all he can? IMO JJ should have taken care of academic business in HS. I am concerned that if he does get in, will he be one of those kids that we have to "get" through school to keep him eligible?
If that’s the case, why did Bama try so hard to flip him that last month?

Too many issues during the Fulmer tenure came from tutors "helping" students keep their grades.
They’ve streamlined it...modern paperless technology helps. If they get enrolled, our guys have it the rest of the way.

My question is, if he gets here, will he be able to stay here? Academically speaking.

i think if he does get here, he may wind up being an acadmeic red shirt, so yeah, if he does get here at this point, i would bet on it.
otherwise, the options then become Juco or try to get his stuff together so he can enroll in January.

“He will be there hopefully by the time school starts at Tennessee,” Propst said of Peterson. “He is working every day to get there.”

If he's thumbing his way to Knoxville somebody please give him a ride.

Unfortunately that will just add to our nasty list of NCAA violations

So....people will be quick to state that Preston Williams wasn't cleared until like August 26th....but I'm starting to become pessimistic about JJ. Reason is...if I recall Preston was just trying to get cleared, and it seemed pretty passive on Preston's part, and more about waiting for the NCAA. I could be wrong. But if J.J. is "working every day" to try to get here....then something is very wrong. I'm just seeing red flags here. Not gonna get my hopes up (despite my username), because I'm not sure that there are any positive signs coming out of any direction here.

He has to get those grades in order. I hope the best for the kid. If he enrolled in January, would he count against 2018 class? He would not be an initial offer.

I know. It’s great when you can’t get your #1 recruit in.

I mean my calculations might be incorrect.... But he has until add or drop day maybe even a little more past that until he can't play for the year...... That's a few weeks to play with. Then again, I'm an optimist.

What does it mean to be working to get to Knoxville before class starts? I would imagine any Vols fan would give him a ride if transportation is needed. Not sure what that's about....

It's funny that now that he hasn't qualified you guys are bashing the coaching staff. When before you guys were like JJ is a must get Pruitt can't miss on him. If Pruitt misses on JJ he can't recruit blah blah blah.

Now Pruitt gets the kid and the kid is doing everything he can to try and qualify and everyone is bashing him lol. It's comedic.

I think it’s mostly Jack...and maybe a few stragglers.
