Remember when we though JG was going to be great.
I never remember you thinking that. It seems like you formed an opinion very early on. I think I will take Ainge's opinion over yours at this point. You might be right; I surely don't know. But, you have clearly had a bias against JG for a long time.

How did you come to the conclusion that our offense is going to suck from my post?

I’m telling you that this offense doesn’t need great talent at QB to be productive. We have top tier WRs, RBs, and a TE.

For example: Sam Darnold (my guy, the best QB prospect since Luck) only completes 37 passes over 20 yards last year. In 14 games that’s not even 3 a game. And USCs offense was phenomenal last year.
Darnold could complete those passes, though. The threat was there. He threw for around 300 yards per game at 8.6 ypa. Defenses had to respect his arm.

We are not winning 8-9 games with a one dimensional running offense that does not have the hammers on the OL to enforce its will on any defense with a pulse. I knew when we signed Pruitt that we would be old school, and I am fine with that, I am all for that, but you have to be balanced to win against decent-good teams. That QB is not going to scare anybody off the LOS. That is a fact to me until I see something different from him, than every game I've seen him play so far.
You don't know anything that Pruitt doesn't know lol

That's nice. Bless your heart.

All things considered, they played KC more today to get some film on him.

You’re being a dildo because you’re questioning the proffessionals., you do know they know what they’re doing, right? You do know they want to win just as badly or millions of dollars more than you wanna win, right?

But, we all have the right to do that and that’s what makes it fun so dildo away

He’s just not very good and a twig.

Maybe Hank feels like this too, but JG left a bad taste after the pouty tantrum over Dormady starting. Lots of negative energy from that team, and who knows how much his attitude contributed to that. IF he starts, i'm fine with it, but I don't blame Pruitt for testing the waters with the other guys.
I think that ESPN really over-played it. We don't know what Butch told him. I agree that he should not have pouted about it. I believe he has matured and if nothing else, showed some toughness last year. I will go along with what every one has said is that I want the QB that gives us the best chance to win to play. If that turns out to be KC, then I will cheer for him loudly.

So no news basically from the scrimmage today? I haven't been able to check in since maybe Wednesday.

If both QB's play, then it's only because JG or KC didn't win it outright. Forcing them to split time will add an extra urgency and hopefully that will bring out the true leader. I can't imagine a scenario where we don't figure it out by the Carolina game.. I trust the coaches to know the right time to call the competition. Last staff, notsomuch.

Welp..that sucks. That just says the offense is going to suck to me. I have watched KC. He isn't the answer to a good offense either. Unless somehow along the way he just got magically better in his LAST year, then I'm expecting very little out of him and this offense.
Please don't take everything he says as gospel. He says he hopes JG wins the job, but he does not really hope that. He has been on the KC bandwagon since he committed to us. KC may end up being the starter, but if you're basing all of your gloom and doom on Hank's opinion from one scrimmage, then I would ask you to consider the source and let it play out.

Eh Rucker's a douche and makes everything about himself, but he's been pretty consistent in saying that he understands why Pruitt is keeping things so close to the vest this year and he doesn't blame him for it.
That tweet of his seems to suggest otherwise, but I really have not heard him complaining before now, so I will take your word for it.

He'll do exactly what he did at Stanford. He'll manage the game, which is a skill, and take care of the football. This team will have to play sound, complimentary football to have success. Ball control on offense, and play solid defense. We'll see.
Yeah, he did so well at it, that he never got benched. Oh.....wait.......

Glad you know what i really hope. Care to tell me my future while you’re at it?
