Yes, plenty of folks have flamed someone on here for simply having a negative opinion lol. Especially when it had to do with Jones. Yeah Colton Jumper ain't making an NFL roster. He's smart, but he's slow and not physical. Not exactly a good combination to have in the league. I still have nightmares of an India State Sycamore literally dragging him on his back for a six or seven yard gain. He wasn't good here, so why would you think he'd cut it in the NFL?
You must not have been in here after we lost to Vandy in 2016. We all wanted Butch's head. I even said that I was done after I heard he did not stay for questions in the presser and pretty much left Dobbs twisting in the wind for the post-game. It was as bad as I have ever seen it after that loss. I was not here for the Dooley years, well I was here, but was not smart enough to come to the RF instead of the FF, so I can't speak to how bad it was then.

I will say that i think KC moves the chains more frequently and has turned the ball over less through out the fall.

JG takes more chances and hits on more big plays in the air and on the ground but also misses more throws and has turned the ball over.
Welp..that sucks. That just says the offense is going to suck to me. I have watched KC. He isn't the answer to a good offense either. Unless somehow along the way he just got magically better in his LAST year, then I'm expecting very little out of him and this offense.

They will find 2-3 more.

Not gonna play 4 DL through SEC play.

Yeah I get that they'll have to throw more guys out there, but playing guys out of necessity and playing guys because they've earned a spot in the rotation aren't exactly the same. Just because we may see them use 6 guys a game doesn't mean they'll want the last two men in that rotation out there in vital situations. I don't think we have that kind of depth yet.

How is either JG or Chryst “their guys”? Other guys recruited and signed them out of high school. If anything, JG has more time with them. This narrative needs to be included in a firing line along with “Chryst didn’t come to Knoxville to not start.”

You are free to have your opinion. In my opinion, CJP spent a scholarship on Chryst and inherited JG. Chryst is his guy.

We're likely gonna see both guys start at some point this year anyway. It's not like either of our guys is so good he'll just run away with the starting job and leave the other in the dust.

Eff all the local media dudes. They need to find other sources or find something else to do. Their sense of entitlement is ridiculous. And, they think we, as fans, should be on their side and demand more access for them. Eff them.
Eh Rucker's a douche and makes everything about himself, but he's been pretty consistent in saying that he understands why Pruitt is keeping things so close to the vest this year and he doesn't blame him for it.

I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that. It was an emotional response to crap news for me. If they can't use JGs talent, then this offense is going to suck. Checking down all the time isn't going to score points.
Yeah you don't know what's going on. I trust the opinion of Helton and Pruitt over Ulysees E. McGill's. Guarantano hasn't shown squat his entire time here. They're going to put whoever gives us the best chance to win, period.

Very few throws are delivered more than 15 yards down field. We don’t exactly have anyone to take the top off a defense either. Chryst tsking the lions share is not a terrible thing. Skinny Rob Lowe it is.

Yeah that one screenshot caused a lot of people to hate on jg. There seems to be a lot of people who aren't necessarily rooting against jg but seem to get way more excited about anything negative about him and positive about kc.
I might be mistaken, but I don't think any of us "hate" JG. Still, facts are facts, Last year's team was the worst in Tennessee history. JG was definitely not the only culprit, but if we are going to win again, Pruitt obviously had to address the attitudes that became a cancer on our team last year. I am excited to see a major change in demeanor from last year's team, and will trust these very experienced winning coaches to know who is best to start in all positions.

How did you come to the conclusion that our offense is going to suck from my post?

I’m telling you that this offense doesn’t need great talent at QB to be productive. We have top tier WRs, RBs, and a TE.

For example: Sam Darnold (my guy, the best QB prospect since Luck) only completes 37 passes over 20 yards last year. In 14 games that’s not even 3 a game. And USCs offense was phenomenal last year.

Look guys..I said earlier that I wasn't responding to this anymore tonight and I guess I lied..sorry..So you guys can have the last word after this..
I have almost zero faith that Keller Chryst is going to do anything more than not screw up badly. I believe if he really is the starter then this offense is probably going to be boring, ugly and painful to watch.
I really hope I am wrong.

It's going to suck either way then. One dimensional offenses are toast in this league. KC ain't scarin nobody out of the box.
He'll do exactly what he did at Stanford. He'll manage the game, which is a skill, and take care of the football. This team will have to play sound, complimentary football to have success. Ball control on offense, and play solid defense. We'll see.

If you would have said “individuals” you would have been reported.

My point is the guy has more natural ability. They evidently don't think they can get it out of him. That sucks. You and I both know what the other guy brings. He has no untapped potential. He has had YEARS to get better and hasn't. If he wasn't good enough for Stanford, then he isnt going to be anything special here either. At least JG had some potential to get excited about, but it looks like they have made up their mind to me that they van not get it out if him...that sucks for us. The offense is going to be painful to watch. That is how I feel about it.
Yeah you have no idea
