Really liking the fact that I can look at my posts all the way back to like a year and a half ago. Kind of funny to see how bad I got flamed for saying things like Les Miles, Donkey, and Mark Richt were all better coaches than Butch Jones. I'm telling you people wanted me horse whipped for holding that opinion. Same for me thinking that Colton Jumper sucked. I also got ridiculed for saying I thought Jones should be fired if he didn't win 8 games and that the wheels were gonna fall off if we lose to Florida lol. Catbone liked almost every post I made too lol. Here's to you Catbone, you've always seemed to be a realist to me.

I really like the fact that I can look at posts all the way back to like a year and half ago. That way you can see who is now revising history. Btw, you're guilty. Nobody here has ever flamed someone simply because they expressed negative opinions of coaches or players. Any flaming has always been the result of the constant negativity or the over-the top negativity.

Also, is this Colton Jumper dude you speak of the same one who is now in the NFL? You were not alone in the criticism of him, but clearly the Saints disagree. He may have never been the player who wish he was, and he may not make it, but you don't get to the NFL if you suck.

Explain I didn't see it

Went off for a couple minutes in the WR room. Said in the past people missed practice for stupid things and that **** won’t fly from now on. Said unless your hamstring was hanging off your bone your ass better be out practicing every day.

Ouch. I will try and do better next time.

Yes, plenty of folks have flamed someone on here for simply having a negative opinion lol. Especially when it had to do with Jones. Yeah Colton Jumper ain't making an NFL roster. He's smart, but he's slow and not physical. Not exactly a good combination to have in the league. I still have nightmares of an India State Sycamore literally dragging him on his back for a six or seven yard gain. He wasn't good here, so why would you think he'd cut it in the NFL?

You're correct. The "couldn't say anything negative" is straight up revision. I mentioned things I didn't like several times and never got 'flamed'.
The reason was simple, I didn't do it constantly and didn't do it just to b****. Those that said "only because of Jones" weren't being honest. Some are right back at it already OR if they like this coach, they are finding other ways to stir it up.

Easy to spot concerned vs personality traits. The FF is even worse but always the same posters.

You're right about stuff regarding Butch. At least you are right in hindsight. I ain't checking your post history because I don't care if you were right then, I was right too, nobody cares, and NOBODY wants to talk about it.

Dude....the first fall scrimmage is today, Vols are moving on, let's move with 'em.

If you are trying to do a precautionary tale warning about coach worship...the timing sucks, that was last February talk and.....still nobody cares....

Moving on.

How does the SEC Network work? Can you watch every game after it’s been played?

I’m hoping to avoid watching games live this year due to the time difference. I’ve got a Firestick and VPN but if someone was kind enough to share their login information that would be awesome.

Nick, I watch a lot of games after the fact from links on Reddit. You've got a VPN and I assume a good adblocker (i recommend uBlock Origin).

Go to Reddit.com/r/cfbstreams and you'll find the UT games. A lot of the streams will allow playback after the game is over.

Not sure how they work with fire stick and roku though. I use the phone or computer.

KEY OPPORTUNITY FOR QUARTERBACKS
Pruitt has made it clear by what little he has said that he's not interested in daily updates on his quarterback battle. Last Sunday, redshirt sophomore Jarrett Guarantano clearly had the best day of the quarterbacks in the open practice and the New Jersey native has been the best signal-caller to this point in fall camp.
But Pruitt is looking for more and it starts with consistency.
“Some days some guys do better than they did the day before, but there’s lots of inconsistency,” Pruitt said. “We’ve got to find guys who are going to be consistent, who are going to take care of the football, that are going to make the guys around them better. These guys are all getting opportunities. They’re taking it all in and we’ll kind of assess things a couple of days after the scrimmage.”
Did the quarterbacks avoid turnovers? How did they affect their teammates? These will be key questions Sunday afternoon.
OTHER ITEMS OF NOTE FOR SCRIMMAGE NO. 1

*** How will the wideouts perform?
The unit has has too many drops during open periods, but Pruitt doesn’t seem overly concerned about the group just yet. The first-year head coach said Tennessee’s receivers and defensive backs have had their moments in camp and the staff has challenged both groups with lots of 1-on-1 competition.
“If you can play one-on-one on the defensive side, you don’t have any limitations. If you can’t, then you’re going to have limitations on your defense,” Pruitt said.
“If you look at the offensive side, if you can’t get away from people that are going to play one-on-one on you, then you’re going to struggle offensively. We’ve tried to create a lot of competition. Both groups need to really improve at that, and I think they have to an extent, but we need to take that to another level.”
*** Will the lights be too bright for any newcomers?
Sunday’s scrimmage is closed, but the first scrimmage during any fall camp oftentimes gives coaches a real indicator of which newcomers will truly be able to contribute this fall.
Pruitt slowed the Alontae Taylor hype train down a bit earlier this week — He’s learning how to play defensive back and he’s got a long way to go. He does have some abilities. He’s got length, he has good ball skills. I think he wants to be good. But there’s other guys out there that are competing with him every day. — but Taylor is going to be a factor this fall. We know that.
What about the freshman defensive lineman? Can Bryce Thompson climb up the depth chart? What about the two freshman punters? Lots of young guys will be challenged like never before this afternoon.
“We’ve got a lot of young guys that are inexperienced and every day they’re improving,” Pruitt said.
“They’re hungry to do that, but they’ve got a lot to learn.”
*** Who wins the LOS?
With all the talk about physicality, which unit “wins the day” will certainly be a discussion Sunday evening. Tennessee’s offensive line is still missing a few key pieces, but with spots up for grabs, it’s important that guys like Drew Richmond, Marcus Tatum, Ryan Johnson and others to perform well.
Similarly, Tennessee has a pretty set first four guys up front defensively — Shy Tuttle, Kyle Phillips, Alexis Johnson and Emmitt Gooden — but that’s hardly enough depth to survive in the SEC. Who else can the Vols count on? They hope to be closer to that answer after tonight.

This all day. I never feel like I’m getting bashed if I say something negative because I don’t have a pattern of nothing but negative posting. That whole “victim” card is played out

So you're telling me that in the thousands of users on this site there are people with opinions different from yours and they spoke their mind? That's groundbreaking stuff.

Tiger hasn’t hit a fairway all day and still -2 for the day and only 1 stroke back. His clean up and approach shots have been great. Let’s see if he can clean up the T shot on the back nine.

Might have not made a huge difference, but if he had just hit 3 fairways, you wonder what he could have done. He won’t dominate like he used to, but his game is close to being championship level again.

Agreed. He left at least a couple birdies on the front nine.

I think he wins today if Koepka wasn’t a machine. He’s just so steady.

Awesome. That's leadership
