Amateur Hour Continues

I could be wrong but are you suggesting that the link provides a refutation to the idiocy of the tweet?

What am I missing?

To an extent, Trump does have a point. The Hayman Fire in Colorado (something I'm extremely familiar with) was certainly not helped because the Sierra Club a-holes kept filing suit after suit after suit trying to keep the US Forest Service from control burning the place. Eventually, it became too dry to control burn it and all it took was that bitch and her plea for attention to burn the joint down.

The same thing happens in these National Wilderness Protection areas (I think).

Point being, sometimes environmental laws and regulations can hurt rather than help. I'm not saying the California fires could have been contained, but the greater point rings true.

Ok sweetie, is this better?

U.S. teen Twitter users age 2018 | Statistic

This statistic shows the share of teenagers in the United States who were Twitter users as of April 2018, sorted by age group. During that period of time, 38 percent of U.S. teens aged 15 to 17 years used the social networking site.
There are about 12 million teens from the age of 15-17 in the US x 38%=4,560,000 You are helping my argument. LOL

If Trump had stayed off the twitter, then most of America would have moved along instead of thinking our president is a lunatic.

And still be watching CNN because the sheep wouldn’t have been red pilled still soaking up the 93% negative coverage and thinking that he hasn’t done one thing right since he took office . I wonder how one of the biggest , most well funded ,network with contract agreement with every motel / hotel , airport and hospital earned that fake news tittle .

What I thought too. So obviously we are right (again).

Oh Sh**! He's doubling down.

Fire agencies haven’t been complaining about a lack of water, especially water “diverted” to the Pacific. Major reservoirs are near the worst fire zones; the Carr fire is near Lake Shasta and Whiskeytown Lake and the Mendocino Complex fire is near Clear Lake. All are at or near their historical levels. “There have been no issues getting water from them,” Scott McLean, a spokesman for the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, or Cal Fire, told me.

In a strikingly ignorant tweet, Trump gets almost everything about California wildfires wrong

No offense but, this is the "I am not responsible for my own actions/thoughts" that is killing this country. No one is forcing anyone to follow him on twitter.
Sooooooo, reverse your statement and he would most likely stop, or at least slow waaaaaay down.
Oh, by the way, Trump has always and will always be a lunatic.

You don't have to follow him on twitter to know what he has said when running for office and now President of the US. Maybe I should have said (since he is president) that if he'd shut his diarrhea mouth/twitter and stick with the cue cards/advisers that so many "liberals" (meaning everyone who isn't his "base") wouldn't be reacting so strongly..

If you are a single lady, I would love to introduce you to BB. You two can wipe each others tears and console each other for all the mean WORDS that Trump says.

The funny thing is , the left have gone so extreme with the sky is falling , everyday is doomsday crap , they aren’t going to have anything left in the tank when he wins 2020 . Then we won’t have any new videos of progressive libs crying and screaming in the streets .

I am married. I will say I agree with BB that the power of words is very important.

The natural tendency for forests is to burn. At a certain age for a given tract it has to happen to clear the undergrowth, place nutrients back in the soil, and clear the way for better growth of timber and foliage for wildlife. It also kills many pests and is the best way to combat invasive species.
The options are either let nature run its course (bad idea around populated areas), controlled low-fire burns (perfect unless there is a drought), or allow loggers to select-cut (takes care of the undergrowth that causes fire issues, but causes soil erosion issues and damage to standing timber if not done properly).
There is no one correct solution, everything has a negative. A balanced, thoughtful approach is needed. That typically involves all three that I posted above.

He will never stop. He would just do/say something more outlandish to gain attention. Trump makes people pay attention to him because his ego is far too fragile to support itself.

Also, his Tweets are official statements of the President. I forget when that was decided, there was a court case about whether Tweets would be archived.

I don't have Twitter, it is poison. But his Tweets do matter because they are official statements from the President.
