Literally always hilarious. Excellet usage. What the hell did you just say about me, you little ****? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I'm the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the **** out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my words. You think you can get away with saying that to me over the Internet? Think again. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that's just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable arse off the face of the continent, you little punk. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little "clever" comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your tongue. But you couldn't, you didn't, and now you're paying the price. I will **** fury all over you and you will drown in it.
Thinking back to the idiocy of the early coaching search.
Remember John Harbaugh’s name floating?![]()
I cant speak for everyone else. Just myself. I didn't like schiano for things unrelated to Penn State. I didnt like him because of his Tampa Bay baggage, because of his Rutgers baggage and because he is an average coach at best. The Penn State stuff is unnecessary in determining his hirability or lack thereof.
If Tennessee fans are so out of line per other fanbases, national media and the prestigious vetting process that Ohio State possess, then why have the actions in his hiring agree with Tennessee? Why did Oregon pass? Because his baggage is his and his own doing. Has very little, if at all, to do with Tennessees fan base. He wasnt rumored as the next hire anywhere because of his baggage!
Bray had so many good receivers at UT-- Hunter, Rogers, Patterson, plus Howard and Rivera. We should have been so much better. But... Dooley.
I don't buy his baggage as hard true facts but I understand most if not all here do. It's what we choose to believe.
One thing is certain it's much much easier to believe the baggage now than before the Tenn episode and that's the only point I am making which is exactly why Ohio State couldn't even entertain hiring him now
did they have any one on staff that had head coach experience...? Besides Schiano? There have been plenty of opportunities for other programs to snap up Schiano. Tennessee fans aren't the only ones who didn't want him as the face of their program. Ultimately, OSU not promoting him to interim looks the worst, though.
Which brings us to a bigger point that hasn’t been talked about yet. All who knew and didn’t report could face the chopping block. This includes Shiano. They couldn’t make him interim head coach because of the very real possibility that he knew and didn’t report at Penn State AND because of the very real possibility that he knew and didn’t report at Ohio State. He isn’t the only OSU assistant with these issues there either.
VQCamp is going to be all about competition. Defensively, only a couple spots are locked in (Kyle Phillips, Shy Tuttle, Daniel Bituli), with even a guy like Nigel Warrior still needing to prove himself after some issues with the playbook. Warrior will very likely earn a starting job at safety, but who plays opposite with him will be a big battle to watch in fall camp. Does Jeremy Pruitt go with experience (Micah Abernathy) or give a freshman like Trevon Flowers or Bryce Thompson a real look? In talking to people this week, expect Thompson to not only get a look at corner but also a run at safety. Pruitt has a history of playing freshmen on defense and as we’ve discussed on the podcast previously, it certainly seems like Tennessee is going to lean toward youth and upside at various spots — especially in the secondary.
VQThe next two weeks will also be key tests for freshman defensive lineman Kurott Garland and Kingston Harris. Both guys were under recruited, but Pruitt & Co., love their size and agility. They’ve come in and had strong summers, generating buzz with teammates and staffers. But now they’ll be really tested in fall camp. The Vols need at least one of their freshman DL to be ready to play snaps in Week 1.
