It is on each forum page at the top right “Mark Read”. I don’t know how to just mark an individual thread though.

Does anyone else have to log in every day? I click "stay logged in" and I'll be logged in if I leave and come back, but the next day I have to log in again.

I realize it says Mobile and PC mode are the same now. It seems rather big and you can’t see but one post at a time. Anyway to use old PC format on iPhone?

Try clearing your cache and dumping your temp files, then log in again. Also setting a new bookmark may be necessary if you're coming in that way.

I could make the screen smaller or bigger by pinching it in or spreading it out so i could read more post at the same time, if that makes sense? It would stay in that position..

Now I have to hold it in that position..

So it’s the posts page? I’m not sure my old eyes can read it much smaller on a phone but I might could look into a skin that could accomplish this somehow.

Went out to the driveway and took a pic of my car......just wanted to make sure I could upload photos on the new site

Otherwise here's a collection of Frequently asked questions:
  • Posts per page are fixed at 25
  • Tapatalk isn’t currently supported. It hasn’t been totally ruled out but there are no current plans to enable it
  • The attached photo button is only for photo uploads from your computer or mobile. Otherwise, use the picture icon to upload or paste a link to a picture. It will be full size.
  • Desktop and mobile are the same now. The website automatically scales to the device you’re using
  • Additional themes will be coming in the future. Will have an orange version and a Rock Gray version also
  • The old tweets will have to be reformatted. It will probably be a bit before Freak gets to that though
  • No more thread size limits
  • Freak definitely plans to have an app of some sort at some point
  • First unread post not working? All posts copied over were marked as unread so it’s starting at post number one. Mark the thread or forum as read and it’ll work after that
  • Pro sports forums may change format. Freak is still thinking about it
  • How do I find a thread I started or a post I made? Click on your avatar icon at the top right and clIck “your content.” Or go to the menu and I think you can click on just your threads. Also, make sure you've watched the thread and you'll get an alert every time someone posts in it. For posts, hopefully the person will @ you to trigger an alert
  • Clear your alerts by clicking once on the bell in the top right. You can also go into your profile and turn off the ones you don’t want
  • Is there some kind of filter on the ‘what’s new’? I don’t see any threads from the politics forum when I click on it. Freak has left out politics for now. He plans to add an option that will allow folks to either opt-in or opt-out of viewing posts from that forum
  • Do we still have the "My Posts" feature? Click on your avatar icon at the top right and select user content
  • Is anyone else having trouble searching? Freak hasn't rebuilt the old search index yet. It takes a loooong time. You should be able to search posts since the move, though.
  • To follow someone on desktop, hover over their avi and click the follow button in the popup. On mobile you have to tap on their name or avi to bring up the popup.
  • Work in progress:
    • Emojis
    • Signatures
    • User titles
    • Check on post counts and likes not quite adding up - Freak has confirmed that all of everyone’s likes DID convert over and ARE in the database. The numbers from the old database and the new database match exactly. That means Freak can bring them back. But he’d like to figure out what’s causing them not to count before he does that.
    • Set a filter option so you can ignore forums from the new posts search, like Politics
    • Embeds. Hudl. 247. Rivals
    • Fix iPhone emojis
    • Selected text reply button color
    • Apostrophes in pre-upgrade posts are showing up as a box
    • The home page threads aren't updated yet for the new site
    • Showing total users currently online
    • Forum list dropdown at the top
    • User tags
    • Quote font size
    • Moving and restyling the report option to be like the other buttons
    • LV thread prefixes for the different sports

If you ignore a poster, you won't see any threads started by him/her.

This might get surprising once the season starts, lol.

and yes, I realize that only weenies put people on ignore, and there is absolutely no reason to do so, and that trying to save real estate on a phone screen doesn't count :cool:

My opinion is that we should be able to see all threads until we, individually, put the threads on ignore, just like it was before. My opinion is that the threads should not be tied to the users.

Agree. Wish it was that way with this software but it’s not. Just have to know it going forward if you ignore someone you won’t see their threads.
